-HONGJOONG
All I wanted for Christmas this year was to see my girlfriend. She was in the process of renewing her Visa and I was growing impatient by the day. She left in October and I knew how hard and long it would be for her to renew it even though she had started early. I talked to her every day but I still really missed her. She always said on the phone she was worried about me but I did everything possible to make her believe I was okay no matter if I was or not.
"Merry Christmas! Who is exchanging gifts first this year?" San walks out with a bag of wrapped gifts.
"Hongjoong has to go last this year!" I sat on the couch with my legs crossed as San started giving everyone a gift. He skipped me which made me sort of curious but they said I went last so maybe I get his last as well.
"Remember the rules. You don't get to open any of them until everyone has theirs." Seonghwa reminded everyone slapping Wooyoung on the top of the head. I watched them all receive gifts from each other until it was my turn.
"Okay, here you go!" I placed the gifts in the middle of the circle they all sat in and went around giving everyone a kiss on the top of the head.
"Um... Hongjoong your gift is sitting on your bed." I looked around confused not knowing how to feel.
"It's from all of us!" Wooyung said with a smile on his face.
"Thanks for being the best leader" Mingi hugged me and pushed me towards the hall. I got to my room and turned on the lights to see the best present ever. (Y/N) was sitting on Seonghwas bed with her legs crossed and a box in her hand. My smile started to fall as my lips quivered and I started to cry.
"Babe!" I said and approached her to embrace her small body in mine. I tried to laugh the tears away but that didn't help.
"Why did you lie to me?" She asked hugging me just as tight as I was hugging her.
"I didn't want to worry you... But that's not the point how and when did you get here?" I pulled away and sat next to her on Seonghwas bed.
"The boys had connections and got my Visa paperwork pushed up. I got in this morning and I have been hiding out in Yunho and San's room." I was so elated I didn't know how to react to anything going on at this moment.
"I don't know if I should be mad or not but I am glad you are here." I cupped her cheeks and pecked her lips lingering for a few seconds.
"I think you should be happy the boys love you so much. They went through a lot to help me get here on time." Her smile lit up what felt like a dark hole inside me. I pulled her back towards me and kissed her again. Deeper this time with so much emotion laced into it.
"I love you and I owe the boys big time." She nods in agreement.
"Merry Christmas baby I love you." She handed me the box with a pretty red bow on top.
"Merry Christmas!" I reached back to my desk and handed her a small wrapped box.
"What is this?" She asked unwrapping it and opening the lid to the box.
"It's a promise ring. We have been together for a long time now and I don't want to lose you. I got it shaped like a snowflake because we met on the first snow back when I was on tour in 2019." I took the ring out of the box and placed it on her finger.
"It's beautiful." She said with a smile. I opened my box to see a bracelet I have been trying to get but haven't been able to get my hands on it.
"OMG, you got this? How?" I took it out and placed it on my wrist.
"The person that makes these is a family friend and I convinced her to make a custom order for me." I threw the boxes to the side and pushed her back so I was hovering over her.
"I love you so much you are freaking amazing!" I pecked her lips between each word.
"I love you too!" She giggled.
We spent the rest of the day hanging out with the boys watching movies, eating, baking, and just having a great time together.
