Arranged Marriage

Start from the beginning

"Where are we going?" He asked as I just kept running.

"We are going to my favorite place. We are almost there."

I am standing outside of Wrigley field stadium home of the Chicago Cubs smiling at how they left the lights on for me as they do every night, I sneak out here. I bypass security as I come here every night when it is closed pulling Wooyoung along with me. I run into the field then plop down on the grass in the center field.

"This is your favorite place?" He asked confused.

"Yes, it is. My grandpa played here. My oldest and Youngest uncle played here, and I grew up on these walls. I learned to walk over there. I learned to run over there, and I learned to play baseball like a boy over there in the diamond. I got over my first boyfriend and all my inner demons right in this spot" he watches me intently as all he sees in my eyes is a feeling of fondness in these walls.

"That is amazing."

"Yeah, you are the first person I bring here. So, he very pleased." I lay back on the grass as he follows my actions.

"I barely know you so why would I be the first person to come here with you?" He was genuinely confused.

"I told myself the first person I would bring would be my husband. Looks like we are getting married, so I brought you here." I shrug my shoulders.

We talked for hours on end getting to know each other. He was amazing. He is in a boy band in Korea called Ateez. He is a singer and an amazing dancer. He can sing but prefers not to. He is the same age as me and genuinely a good person all around.

TIME SKIP

It was the day before my wedding and I am picking out a dress with my mom, Mrs. Jung, and Wooyoungs sister. I came out in a very chic bohemian style simple wedding dress. I absolutely loved this dress compared to the other 10 I had tried on.

"You look beautiful," all of them said in unison as they started to cry.

"Oh no don't cry" I roll my eyes as I can't stand people crying. I feel weird and don't know how to deal with it.

"I 100% think you found the one." His sister comes over to me helping me spin then hugging me. "I am finally going to have a sister."

I go and pay for the dress to find out it was already paid for and I still had money left over. I furrow my eyebrows not connecting the dots too well but his sister and Mrs. Jung start giggling and talking to each other.

"Just credit the rest to the person who sent the money," His sister says to the lady that rang me up before taking my hand and walking out. We were supposed to meet the men at a restaurant not too far from where we were shopping.

When we enter the restaurant, everybody greets everybody and Wooyoung walks up to me hugging me and putting his cheek against my cheek making a kiss sound as I did the same.

"What type of greeting is that to your future wife son?" Mr. Jung asked teasingly.

"I respect her I don't want to make her uncomfortable dad." He pulls out my chair and pushes it in as I sit down. I thank him politely before turning my head to my mom.

We finished eating and I was walking out hand in hand with Wooyoung before we stop in front of my hotel. We had changed everything, and I was getting married at my favorite place on earth.

Wrigley Field home of the Chicago Cubs.

"I will see you tomorrow as we are saying our I do's." He smiles at me then brings my hand up to his lips and kisses it. I blushed hardcore and I smiles and looked away.
