when you say nothing at all

Sydney

I unlocked my front door, and dropped my bags onto the floor, ready to crash on my sofa.

I'd been out all day at the studio, writing and recording some new stuff including Everything Happens For A Reason.

We'd worked on it a lot recently, as I was learning more about myself and my last relationships. I had the idea to warp some of it when I say "I still love you", like this warped view of love I had with Jordan.

At first listen, it seems like I'm a heartbroken girl that still is pining for an ex but really it was a song of learning, and realising I never loved him, it wasn't real.

I wasn't completely sure that I'd ever put it out, but I loved recording and sharing with my team. They were a safe space, and were patient with me.

It was still winter in London, so I was wearing a mini skirt, tights, a black long sleeve and a leather jacket. I was still freezing, so I kept my jacket on.

I headed into my kitchen to grab my takeout menus, and a Cherry Coke. I shuffled about, sifting through them trying to decide what to get. I'd usually get pizza or Chinese, but I selected the Sushi Menu Harry had left here.

I was trying to learn to like it, because he liked it.

I flicked through the menu, selecting the ones I thought I'd like and the ones I knew Harry did aswell. Once I'd decided on the ones I wanted, typed in the website and ordered.

It didn't take long, and I ended up on my sofa, flicking through the movie channels. I simultaneously pressed my controller buttons, and scrolled through my Instagram feed.

As a familiar voice on the tv started speaking, I suddenly stopped, and looked up.

Notting Hill

A smile broke out on my face, as I settled in to sit and watch the film. I loved it, and it reminded me how badly I missed Notting Hill. I lived so close, and needed to go soon.

Maybe I'd take Harry and we could go to the market

My thoughts were quickly interrupted by a soft knock on my door. I had no idea who it could be. I had only just ordered the sushi, so I couldn't of come that quick.

I quickly got up off the sofa, and walked over to the door. I peaked through the peep hole, and was completely surprised who I saw on the other side.

I threw it open, and saw a sheepish looking Harry on the other side.

"Hey" were the first words he said. I couldn't help but chuckle.

"Hey H." I smiled, pulling him into a hug. He smelt of coffee and vanilla. His arm wrapped around me, and as I pulled back he kissed me.

It was a soft kiss, and I smiled into it. I was just happy to see him. He moved back, and I slipped my hand into his pulling him into the flat.

"What are you doing here Styles? Are you okay?"

He placed his phone on my island, before running his hand through his hair. He seemed nervous, making me nervous.
