Harry

"Sydney"

I swear I was dreaming when I uttered her name. Had my mind conjured her up?

She actually stood there, smiling at me, not saying anything. Her eyes locked onto mine, until Mitch stood up and interrupted us.

"Syd no way! What are you doing here?" He laughed, pulling her into a hug.

Sydney went to answer but before she could, I heard a familiar voice as Louis appeared by her side.

"Harry mate! You alright?" Louis said, coming into the the room and giving me a hug. He shook Mitch, Sarah and Jeff's hands before going back to his spot next to Sydney.

I smiled, "I'm good, just been recording the album." Sydney still watched me intently, smirking to herself.

"You'll have to send me over some stuff, I can't wait to hear it. If you're in London for a while, come over and I can play you what me a Syd have been working on." Louis replied, leaning his elbow on her shoulder.

My eyes flicked back to hers, "Is that why you're here?" I asked.

"Yes, we just recorded a single for next year" She replied softly.

"Syd didn't you say you wanted a cigarette? Wanna go outside?" Louis asked. Sydney nodded, they both said goodbye and were gone.

What had just happened?

Mitch looked over to me leaning on his chair with his arms crossed, a prominent smirk on his face. I cleared my throat and said,
"What Mitchell? Why are you smirking?"

He let out a dry laugh, "Go after her then."

I furrowed my brows at these words,
"What do you mean?"

"I saw your face when she stood there. Go and talk to her before she's off somewhere else." Mitch chuckled to himself.

Without another word I stood up, grabbed my stuff and went outside to the front of the studio.

Sydney was leaning against the a brick wall, with a cigarette resting between her lips. She was flicking her gold lighter, as Louis stood a few feet away on the phone.

Her eyes were glued to the ground but as soon as she saw my feet in front of her, they shot up.

She tried to hide her excitement, but I could read her face like a book. I reached over to the cigarette resting on her lips and moved it to my mouth, taking a long drag and blowing the smoke into the air.

She broke the silence by saying, "You didn't tell me you'd be in London." I gave a dry laugh in response, "Neither did you."

She shook her head and laughed,
"It's very weird that I keep bumping into you Harry Styles."

My eyes caught onto hers and that same glint she had the first day I met her, was clear.

"I think it's called fate Sydney Lewis."
A small smile broke on her face at my response.

"So you know Louis?" I asked as she reached over and took her cigarette back.

"Yeah I met him a few months ago at the club and we hit it off pretty well" Sydney replied.
