Chapter 2 : The Village Was Raided; Sudden Reincarnation Part 2

As soon as the morning came, Xin Yue and Feng Xin crossed two more mountains before arriving in a town called Ghongzi. Though that town was in the middle of the highlands, it was rich in natural resources because of it's environment, and the town was rich, clean, and peaceful.

The people were all educated, unlike those cavemen villagers living at the peak of the mountain who were worshipping a planet. Xin Yue glanced at Feng Xin and reached out his hand. "Do you have money?"

Feng Xin rummaged his bag for a bit before answering. "En. I stole ten gold taels in the village. I think it's enough for five to six years if we use it with resourcefulness."

Xin Yue was astonished and patted Feng Xin's head. "ATTA BOY! HOW AWESOME! YOU SHOULD'VE STOLE ALL THE MONEY! NO NEED TO FEEL GUILTY! HAHAHAHA! FOR NOW, LET'S BUY SOME CLOTHES AND FOOD BECAUSE WE LOOK AND FEEL LIKE SHIT."

Feng Xin slightly pursed his lips and nodded before they went inside the town gate. There were all the street markets on the sidewalk that were selling either sugarcoated sticks, books, martial arts manuals that were obviously fake, noblemen's trash, hairpins, or rouges.

Xin Yue dragged Feng Xin inside a boutique house. Since the original "Xin Yue" had no mirrors inside his small house back in the village, it was the first time Xin Yue saw his facial features. Instead of the raven black hair that most people naturally had, his hair was more of a black and blue mixed color. Since it was dark last night, he couldn't get to see the color of his hair, and now that his hair is looking so unusual and strange, he will definitely stand out in the middle of the crowd.

His face was molded in a beautiful shape, his eyes were an unusual dark violet color, his brows were thick but soft, his eyelashes were long and curled, his nose was molded in a soft round shape and pointed, and his mouth was smooth and colorless.

Even though his lips were pale like those of a sick person, overall, his face was indeed a rare beauty that you will find once in a blue moon. Xin Yue only thought that he would only become taller, but who would've thought that his body and facial features would change too?

Unlike his original shirt and chubby body, his new body was tall and petite. It's obvious that the original "Xin Yue" was starved in that village to the point that he became malnourished. His hands and feet were slender and long; they were also smooth, as if he had never done any household chores. The texture of his ivory skin was also smooth, and Xin Yue felt like even a mosquito wouldn't dare bite him because of his majestic-like skin.

Xin Yue was so distracted last night to the point that he didn't realize that his body had changed. He didn't know whether to feel happy that he had become a beautiful man or sad because he would certainly face hardship in the future because of his face.

All he could do was continue living no matter what, just like his grandma always said. He held on to those words until his grandma peacefully breathed her last breath. He had no time to falter and wait for his mind to understand why, after he died being smashed by the truck, he was suddenly here, alive and kicking.

Seeing that the robes were looking simple but the lowest price was 9 gold taels, Xin Yue frowned at the shocking price and called the boutique owner.
