Jennifer's POV.

I immediately hanged up.

I was stilled on my position.

"Jennifer..." A heard a soft voice calling my name.

I turned and found Alaric. He was standing there with a charming smile.

"Hey! How come you are here?"
I lifted him up and made him sit on my lap.

"Actually your rude husband lead me here." He chuckled.

"Did you just call me rude?" Samuel asked arching his eyebrow. He was leaning towards the doorframe.

"Yup! I did." Alaric said with a teasing smile.

"Alaric..." I said scolding him.

"Fine...you husband is not rude." He said rolling his eyes.

Samuel heaved a sigh and left the place.

"I was missing you." He said cutely playing with my hairs.

"Aww, even I miss you." I kissed his soft cheek.

"Your rude husband doesn't like me. Does he?"

"I heard that!" Samuel yelled from hall.

We chuckled together,"Okay so...His name is Samuel and don't call him rude."

"He is rude!" He said.

"No he's not. He's just um..." He cut me off and said. "A lil arrogant and ruthless." He laughed.

"Okay forget all this. I've something for you." I gave him his gift. He was so happy seeing the Nemo and T-shirts.

"They're awesome." He exclaimed.

"Thank you, Did you informed your mom that you're here?"

"Nope." He said playing with Nemo.

"She must be worried about you!"

"Oh I forgot to inform her." He said as realisation hit him.

"Do you have her no.? How stupid of me. How would you remember you are just three.?" I was really worried.

"Actually I do have." He said and gave me a paper from his pocket.

Address and phone no. Was mentioned in that paper.

I called her and told her that Alaric is with me. She said okay. She also told me to drop him home.

I said okay and then hang up.

"I was lost once at that time mom gave me this," he said showing the paper,"And told me to call her whenever I felt like I'm lost."

He said and he looked too cute while saying so. He stammered so much while talking and his words also are not clear.

"Let's go for a walk." I said.

We went out and started walking. "So you were missing me?"

"Yeah... Actually last day I came near the beach but you weren't there...where were you?"

"Umm...I went shopping with Samuel."

"Ohh."

"So whom do you miss beside me?" I asked him,he was kicking a pebble all the way.

"I...I do miss my...father." He said.

I looked at him. His expressions were blank.

"Have you seen him?"

"No. And... I don't want to see him."

"Why? Are you angry with him?"

"Actually... He's dead." He said making me all shocked.
