This is how it started (Elementary Series #01)

Chapter 32

Ngayon ang rehearsal para sa debut ko at may cotilion din kasi kaya kailangan lahat kami ay present.

Kakagaling lang namin sa Batangas kasi doon kami nagcelebrate ng birthday ni Zea at nakakatuwang makita na andito pa rin siya at maging ang iba na kasama sa birthday niya kahapon, mga pagod pa kami at kulang sa tulog, pero pumunta pa rin sila dito.

Kaya lang ay hanggang ngayon, wala pa rin si Sev. Nasa band practice pa kasi siya at doon siya dumeretso kanina pagkagaling namin sa Batangas, wala pa siyang pahinga.

"Do you want me to rehearse the dance with you? Your boyfriend isn't here yet and we really need to rehearse already. The D.I told me to be your partner first until your real partners arrives." James said when he sits beside me. he is one of my 18th roses since he is really a good friend to me.

Sev really don't like James at all. He hates him. Nag-away pa nga kami dahil kay James e.

I was in Starbucks with my friends, but then they planned to watched a movie and I told them that I will join them next time, because I have to go in the hospital. Mommy is in labor. They left me in Starbucks and I waited for Sev because he said that their band practice is already done.

I am busy playing through my phone when I saw someone sits in front of me. And it was James.

"Alone. Where's your friends?" he asked me after he sipped his coffee.

"They're in the mall, watching movie" I said and continue playing piano tiles.

"Why did they left you?" he asked and I finished the game first before looking at him. He's watching through my phone as well. He then sits properly to talk to me.

"Well, nanganak kasi si mommy and I have to go in the hospital" sabi ko sa kanya at tiningnan muna kung may text na si Sev. Wala. Nasa daan siguro. "Can you imagine how excited I am? I really want to see my little sister. It's like I will have a doll but in human form" sabi ko at natawa naman siya habang umiiling.

"Yeah. Nasabi mo sakin na mas gusto mo talaga ang kapatid na babae, favoritism ka na kaagad" sabi niya at inirapan ko naman siya.

"It's not favoritism. It's just that I really wanted to have a girl playmate before, but then Charles is cute but he's makulit, sobra. Tapos, I can't make him a dolle pa. So now, na may kapatid na akong babae, I am super excited. Finally, may maglalaro na ulit nung mga nakatago kong laruan sa bahay na hindi ko ipinamigay." sabi ko at pabiro naman siyang pumalakpak.

"Mabait na bata ka naman pala dati, ano ng nangyari ngayon?" sabi niya kaya naman tiningnan ko siya ng masama. "Just kidding. So, you will go in the hospital?"

I nodded at him and checked the time. 2 pm na. Bakit wala pa siya?

"Want me to drive you papunta sa hospital?" he asked and I immediately declined his offer. Mag-aaral pa siya e. Tsaka hinihintay ko lang naman si Sev.

"I am with Sev. I am just waiting for him, maybe he's on his way already. Also, you need to study too" sabi ko at tumango naman siya at nagbukas ng laptop. Ako naman ay naglaro ulit. Naglalaro ako nung tumawag si Sev.

"Hey, baby" I excitedly answered his call.

"Hi. I'm already outside" he said and then I looked outside and saw his car. I then waved at him, he's outside his car.

"Okay. Labas na ko" sabi ko at binaba ang tawag.

I saw James looked at me because I am ready to go out after I got my drink and Sev's drink.

"Sev's outside na. So, I got to go. Good luck sa readings" I told him and he just bid goodbye as well.

"I missed you" I said and he smiled at me before holding my back and protecting my head as I went inside the car
