This is how it started (Elementary Series #01)

Chapter 25

I am third year high school, when I said yes to Sev. That happened just last month, June 27. A lot of things happened when he started to court me. I will start with the very beginning.

If he's clingy before, he's super clingy now. He always held my hands in public or not, if some guys were always the one waiting for the girls to hold their hand, Sev is not.

He always visits me in our house, though it's not shocking anymore. He always text and call or chat. He's always visiting me in our classroom, that's why his fans are getting angrier at me day by day. He's carrying my bag, even if I told him that I can carry it. He's always giving me foods and flowers. He informs me first when he will be busy, so I won't be expecting all his attention to me for that specific day.

He keeps me updated. I told him that ut's okay if he won't update me that much, but he insisted on updating me every day, on what's happening to him.

Then he just sometimes hugged me if he's happy or sad or irritated.

He's extra protective na rin. Doon sila nagkakasundo ni daddy at dinadamay pa nila si Charles. Hindi naman nila ako pinagbabawalan magsuot ng maiiksing damit or what, pero dapat palagi kong kasama si Sev or yung driver ko kapag aalis. Binigyan na kasi ako ni daddy ng sarili kong driver, kasi mas madalas na akong lumabas ngayon at sabi niya mas maganda daw kung may maghahatid sa akin palagi.

Pero silang dalawa ni Sev ay may contact sa driver ko para alam nila kung nasaan ako or kung safe ako. Hindi rin matatahimiik si Sev kapag hindi ako makapagtext sa kanya, tapos hindi ko siya kasama for that day. Kung nasa bahay ako ay okay lang naman daw, pero kapag nasa labas ako kasama ang mga kaibigan ko, nasa field trip or nasa leadership training ay dapat daw magreply ako or mag-text sa kanya before I busy myself. Minsan nga niloloko na siya ni Atarah na baka masakal daw ako kasi masyado siyang clingy at text ng text kapag hindi ako kasama.

"I just want her safe and I want to be informed, so I can have my peace of mind" Sev said to them.

"I just want to know if you are really safe" and this is dad's reason when I am asking him.

Si Noa, sabi niya basketball and band is life daw siya, hindi katulad ni Sev na may basketball, band at girlfriend. Pero madalas ko naman siya makita na nakikipag-usap sa ibat-ibang babae, babaero din. Tss tss. Si Atarah naman ay study first, kahit may umaamin sa kanya at gustong manligaw ay ayaw niya. Mas gusto niyang magbasa kaysa makipag-usap sa iba. While for Syl, I think he likes someone e, based on Sev's chismis. Zea have a several suitors or MUs, I am just supporting her as long as she's not hurting anyone or herself.

"Bakit?" tanong ko kay Sev, one time na tinawag niya ako at mukha siyang seryoso.

"I have a question for you" he said so I focused on him and drink my juice first.

"What is it?" I asked and eat one of the cookies he made for me. Yes, he already mastered baking cookies because of me. While I mastered baking cupcakes for him.

"Why do you have to be so beautiful?" he seriously asked me and I coughed because of his question kaya naman pinainom niya muna ako ng tubig bago ako nagsalita.

"Seryosong tanong ba 'yan? Nakakainis 'to! Akala ko naman tungkol sa kung saan"

He always told me I am beautiful while looking at me with adoration visible to his eyes.

"But that's a serious question" he said while he's helping me cleaning all the art materials I used for the project.

"Tss. Mambobola ka na naman. Pero alam mo, hindi ka talaga maalam mag-sinungaling. Ang ganda ko nga talaga" seryosong sabi ko sa kanya. Nagkatinginan kami at sabay na natawa sa sinabi ko.
