This is how it started (Elementary Series #01)

Chapter 15

A year had passed since I met Zea.

The three boys were not sulking about Zea anymore, they actually befriend her because she's one of my best friends as well. Zea already attended our birthdays. And then Charles is already two years old. He knew how to walk anymore, madalas lang siya madapa. Madaldal na din siya, sobra. Si Matthew naman ay naglalakad na din, magbibirthday siya sa July, next month. Madalas na din silang maglaro ni Charles, kasi mas naging busy ako dahil sa school, clubs at SSG activities.

From the year that passed, Atarah didn't call and I missed her so much already. I told Zea about Atarah and she said that she's excited to meet her soon. I still remember noong sumama ako sa caroling nila. Si Zea kasi gustong mangaroling last Christmas, inaya niya kami at unang pasko din niya kasama namin, SI Noa lang ang hindi namin nakasama noon e.

Hindi ko alam na masaya palang mangaroling at nagkakaroon pa ako ng pera. Hindi ba pwedeng araw-araw mangaroling? Like the usual we gave each other a gift from each and everyone. We just included Zea on the exchange gift.

Some other time we will watched Sev and Noa played basketball in the court of our village or in Sev's house. They grew taller each year, I did as well, but still small.

Aside from playing, we also spent our vacation by watching a movie or a cartoon in each other's houses. If the boys were playing video games, Zea and I will just play with our dolls. Then sometimes we will go to the mall or in amusement park with our parents.

We also experienced field trips with our parents, last year. We went in the museum, Luneta Park, factory and then we also went in Star City. We are with our mothers during that trip, mommy just told daddy to took a day off for Charles. I enjoyed that field trip, because that's our first field trip together.

Tapos ang dami pa naming pinuntahan noong field trip. Madami ding baon na food si mommy.

Sev and I were currently inside the bus, today is our first day of school. I am Grade four and Sev is Grade five, he said that they will join the team this year and they will play for the intrams. Sadly, I don't have any sports because I'm too busy with SSG and club activities, then with the quiz bees and trainings that I attended. Busy din naman sila Sev, pero feeling ko mas busy ako. Sana sa high school makasali ako sa cheering squad.

We arrived in school and Noa, Syl and Zea is already waiting for our arrival. I waved at them when we went down the bus, Sev is behind me. We greeted each other, then we walked towards our room which is near to each other. Some girls greeted Noa, Sev and Syl. Syl and Noa greeted back, but Sev just do a simple nod. Ang suplado naman talaga nito.

Kami naman ni Zea ay nag-uusap lang tungkol sa mga crushes niya na ang dami. Ako hindi na ako nagkaron ng crush ulit.

"Liya!" I heard someone calling my name behind us. I stopped to looked, all of them looked as well. Sev frown when he saw Jiro. Noa and Syl just shrugged and waited for Jiro to come near us. While Zea whispered something to me.

"Crush ka niyan si Jiro. Sure ako" bulong ni Zea sa akin.

"Ewan ko sayo. Di ako aasa, feeling ko nasa high school talaga ang magiging crush ko. Sabi nila ang dami daw pogi sa high school" sabi ko naman sa kanya at tumango naman siya kaya tumawa ako.

"Bakit?" tanong ko kay Jiro nung nakalapit na siya samin.

"Wala, sasabay lang. Good Morning" he said and greeted everyone. I saw Sev rolled his eyes, then Noa and Syl laughed a little.

Mostly si Jiro ang nakakasama ko sa mga quiz bee, nakakasama ko din sila Sev at Noa, mas madalas lang talaga si Jiro.

"Okay" sagot ko lang at nakipag-usap na ulit kay Zea. Nagpatuloy naman kami sa paglalakad papunta ng room. Nauna ang room nila Sev kaya nagpaalam lang kami bago dumeretso sa room namin.
