"Our Christmas party will be on December 16. Magkakaroon tayo ng exchange gift, games and foods inside the classroom only" our teacher announced first week of December. Medyo makulimlim ang panahon ngayon kasi may bagyo daw sabi nila mommy.
"You won't need to wear a uniform for that day. Lahat naka-free style, and then we will have a meeting with your parents about the amount for the exchange gifts" she added "I will write something on the board and then write it down in your red notebook, then make your parents signed it for the schedule of our meeting"
Lahat naman kami ay tumango sa sinabi ni ma'am. Excited na kami for the Christmas party. Tsaka pwede daw kami mag-suggest ng food. Almost all of us wanted spaghetti and cake and chicken, just like in birthday party.
During the break time all of us were discussing about the Christmas Party, we are with Sev, Noa and Syl.
"Kayo anong food niyo?" tanong ni Nica sa kanilang tatlo, they became friends with them because I always invited these three every time that me and my classmates were playing.
"Wala pa e, wala pang final na desisyon ang buong klase" sagot naman ni Noa sa kanya. Lahat naman kami ay tumango sa sinabi niya kasi kami ay wala pa din naman final food na naiisip for the Christmas Party.
"E how about the exchange gift, meron kayo no'n?" tanong ko naman.
"Oo naman, anong akala mo samin kakain lang. May exchange gift, tsaka games kami" sagot naman ni Syl sakin.
"Anong mga games niyo?" tanong ko ulit.
"No idea. The teacher will be the one who will think of the game together with the parents" Sev answered.
After break time, our teacher announced that we will have tests before the week of our Christmas Party and she told us that after the Christmas Party our next class will be after New Year.
Weekend came and I am currently coloring one of my coloring books when yaya knocked on my door.
"Bakit po 'ya?" tanong ko nung binuksan ko na yung pinto habang hawak ko ang color ko.
"Andyan mga kaibigan mo sa baba Liya" sabi naman ni yaya Marie sakin.
"Sino po?" madami kasi akong kaibigan e.
"Sila Sev tsaka yung dalawang batang lalaki"
Namilog ang mata ko sa tuwa, hindi naman kasi nila ako sinabihan na pupunta sila ngayon sa bahay. Tumakbo naman ako pababa ng hagdan at sinabihan ako ni yaya na wag tumakbo at baka madapa ako.
"Bakit naman kayo pumunta dito? Anong meron?" tanong ko sa kanilang tatlo.
Nagkatinginan naman muna silang tatlo at sabay-sabay umiling.
"Nothing" Sev said.
"Wala lang" Noa followed.
"Laro tayo" Syl answered.
At dahil sa sinabi ni Syl ay naalala ko na nagpabili ako kila mommy ng sungka last time dahil alam ko na kung paano 'yun laruin. Hindi naman kasi naituro ni Syl sa amin 'yun e, kaya nakinood na lang ako sa laro ng mga pinsan ko. Inaya ko muna silang kumain ng lunch kasabay namin ni mommy. Mommy's tummy is so, so big.
"Eat well boys" mom said before she eats her lunch and I did the same.
After our lunch I saw mommy with our cook in the kitchen, she's discussing about the food we will have for Christmas.
"See you in school" Noa and Syl said before leaving. Si Syl ay naglakad lang. Saktong dumating naman si Tita Lucille at kakausapin daw si mommy.
Pagpasok naman namin ni Sev ay nag-patuloy lang kami sa panunood ng TV. Dumating na si dad, pero naandito pa rin si Tita Lucille at Sev. Dad kissed my forehead before going to our garden where Mom and Tita Lucille were.
