*(Y/N) POV*

"WAKE UP!"

The first words I hear as I immediately wake from my sleep.

Fear overwhelms me as I cautiously look around the room, my head still laid down to my pillow.

And to my left I see Tom, staring down at me with an amused look on his face, nearly cracking a smile.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?"

-I ask, my voice quiet and my throat dry from my sleep.

"You told me to wake you up."

-Tom replied, his face still with the same smug look.

"Yeah I didn't say yell in my ears."

-I argued back as I rubbed my face before slowly sitting up.

"I didn't yell, I whispered it, very close to your ears."

I rolled my eyes at him before crawling out of bed and towards my washroom.

"Was that really necessary? I'm sure a simple shake would have been enough."

"I tried that, it didn't work."

"Sure you did."

-I answered back before closing the bathroom door.

As we both made our way to The Great Hall for dinner, I followed Tom towards the end of the Slytherin table.

"You never want to sit with your friends anymore huh?"

-I said to him as I sat down.

He looked behind himself, at the front of the Slytherin table where they were before saying-

"They aren't my friends, just students, an accomplice if you will."

-before sitting down next to me.

I ate food while Tom wrote in his little book, keeping it far enough as so I couldn't see inside it.

When I was finished, I looked around the room, watching other students, and I suppose Tom noticed me doing so as he closed his book before opening his mouth to speak-

"Are you leaving for winter break?"

I paused for a minute as I stared at him before answering-

"Um- no, my parents are away so I'd have to stay here."

"Hm, so you say you're not attending the Yule Ball as well?"
