"Ahh!!! ¡¡¡mamá!!!"

Luz was brought shrieking in both panic and fear when Eda drew a spell circle to Camila.

Camila fell back fainting from it.

"What did you do to my mom!??" Luz cried holding her.

Amity did not like her crying.

"Relax, I just did a sleep spell on her. She'll be fine." Eda assured everyone of the spell she used.

Not that relieving for Luz though.

"But she hit her head!!"

"Nothing a healing spell can't fix, chop! Chop! Kid, c'mon, you should be helping that friend of yours over there to heal her faster." Eda clapped her hands brushing the problem easily under the rug.

How convenient, right?

Just use a healing spell to solve it.

Luz was got her mom to bed upstairs.

"So what now..?" Gus wondered.

"That woman said she's taking us all to a different world as soon as you're all healed up." Willow shrugged.

Gus huffed.

"Does it hurt?" Jerbo wondered.

"No, not really. I just feel kind of... Weak? I don't know, kind of like when you have a fever but you took medicine to ignore it so you can continue working." Gus explained.

"He just feels physically weak, he'll be healed completely after a fair long rest." Matt sighed.

"Then let's all meet up next week." Luz snapped her fingers at the idea.

"Sounds good to me." Viney agreed.

Everyone looked at one another.

"I shall partake on it." Emira agreed.

"Me too." Jerbo chided.

"If Em and Jerbo agree, then so will I." Edric came last.

She groaned sitting up.

It was early morning.

She doesn't remember how she got herself to her bed at all.

"Ah! Morning, ¡mamá!" Luz smiled flipping a pancake midair.

Camila smiled seeing her make breakfast after coming downstairs. Usually, she'd be the one making breakfast.

"Good morning too... Did you wake up before me?" She asked.

Luz meekly smiled.

She's gonna lie.

"Yep! Since you quickly came here and got up to your room to sleep yesterday, I thought you were really tired so I let you be. You always work so hard and now you're a doctor!" She said.

"Ahh... Right," Camila looked down.

Would it have been better if she were still a nurse..? Perhaps.

She hummed and turned to go to the backyard.

She gasped.

'Since when did we have this beautiful small garden!?' she looked around it in awe and curiosity but with concern and confusion.

'Luz never told me anything about her planting whenever I'd call in the phone...'

"Hey, mamá, breakfast is ready." Luz called.

"Luz, can you come over here for a second?" Camila called back.

Luz raised a brow walking over to see what her mom was looking at.

She also forgot she let Belos have his hands down dirty to plant flowers.

"Oh! Uhh..." She looked up at her.

"S-Surprise!?!" She smiled wide.

"Hm?" Camila raised a brow.

"This was supposed to be a surprise present for you since you've been working so hard but... Erm, I got a little carried away and didn't just make one flower bed for you to look at." Luz laughed while scratching the back of her head.

She lied again.
