"Isn't it weird, Eda??" Luz asked.
"What's weird, kid?" Eda yawned.
"The news keeps saying they captured you for petrification today when you're right here!! Look!" Luz offered the crystal ball to her.
Eda squinted her eyes listening.
"It's so weird, right? King??" Luz asked.
"Yeah, it is." King agreed with her.
"Could be just an illusion spell by anybody!" Eda laughed as an idea popped in mind.
"What do you say you call up your friends and we can all go watch this illusion happen, eh? It's the weekends anyway, right?" She smirked.
Luz gasped in excitement and squealed in joy.
"Yeah!!! That'd be great!!!" She jumped up rushing to dial on the crystal ball.
Eda chuckled as she watched her run up the stairs.
"Why'd you say that?" King asked.
"King, I'm trying to lighten the mood after last time when I almost killed you both in my Owlbeast form." Eda scoffed.
"Yeah, but I wanna come watch too!" King whined.
"You can come with us," Eda snickered.
...
Luz and Amity stood in front of a stall selling crystal balls.
It was playing the news.
"What the heck is petrification..?" Luz hummed listening further.
"It could mean turning something solid." Amity suggested.
"You think so, ¿mi amor?" Luz wondered.
"Yes, m ... Mi esposa." Amity really can't hold back flushing a bit when she'd have to call Luz wife like so.
Luz hummed watching further.
She gasped when she heard Eda's full name.
"There she is!!" She pointed.
Amity blinked in surprise.
"Ah, the castle over there?" She hummed pointing at the directions.
Luz nodded eagerly.
"Let's go save her now! I can't wait to write down all of these epic writing ideas!!" She said.
Amity smiled drawing a spell.
Immediately, the same bird in all fire appeared. They rode it towards the castle.
...
Eda sat inside the cage.
"I am so screwed aren't I..?" She looked around her.
She sighed.
The large thing ready to aim and kill her was getting prepped and there wasn't much time until she dies being turned solid.
'Those are some sick statues over there.' she pondered thinking before raising a brow when the supposed Emperor holding everything asked her one thing, "what is your final words, Owl Lady?"
She sighed.
"For the last time, I'm not the Owl Lady in this universe." She shrugged.
Belos growled. He still thinks she was just in denial.
...
"Huh? She's not the Owl Lady in this universe??" Willow was confused by the wording.
She and the others were watching from afar but in a good view.
"Woah... When you said that illusion was good, it's good! I bet it's from a super-powerful witch helping you, Miss. Eda!" Gus was in shock watching.
"Hah! Wouldn't dream of it, I'm a criminal remember?" Eda laughed.
...
"Still in denial I see..." Belos chuckled.
Lilith gulped. She was feeling anxious about the situation now. She felt very anxious indeed.
"Fire it!" Belos commanded.
Eda sighed.
"No..!" Lilith watched in horror.
...
Crash
"What the..!?" Eda shot up looking.
Luz fumbled by her sudden movements, making the popcorn spill a bit.
"Oh my gosh! Sorry, Amity!" She stammered.
"I... It's ok..!" Amity squeaked waving her hands.
"Woah???" Gus was confused seeing that loud crash of fire hit the machine, breaking it.
"What was that!?" Willow exclaimed.
