Childe slammed his hydro weapon into the ground, hearing the report from the two recruits. "Master Childe, if i may speak up. Killing this Bennett person isn't worth it, hearing rumors of him having bad luck and always getting injured is just part of his daily life. He already gets bruises by living" the first recruit spoke up.

"Heh, i appreciate the comforting words Mikhail; and i hope this Bennett will get wounds that are impossible to cure" Childe chuckled to himself. The tsaritsa asked the recruits first when they entered the palace before they head off to another room where Childe was drinking his wine.

"Huh, killing off that person won't be worth the blood as long as they don't touch what's mine.." the tsaritsa held the candid photo of Y/N in her hands.

Somewhere in the streets of Liyue, a certain chef returned from her journey of going through different nations to find ingredients. After hearing news that the people she met at springvale were the ones who helped on saving Liyue, she felt happiness and sadness at the same time. Because they protected her home and when they arrived she wasn't there.

Her father was on a day off today and lent the entire kitchen to her, guoba and yaoyao. Her coworker was busy on the kitchen while she tend orders and watched her two best friends talk...

"You always speak highly about this Y/N" Chongyun sighed as he grabbed a bite of his popsicle. "Of course i do! Other than saving liyue, she's also a kindhearted person. Once they return here on Liyue, i'll introduce you to her!" Xingqiu was indeed, lovestruck. He put his book aside and continued to talk about Y/N.

"Are you sure you're not crushing on Y/N?" Xiangling giggled as she handed them their orders. "Didn't you say you met them first before us in springvale? Then why don't you ask her preferences?" Xingqiu whined. "Because i didn't asked them, they were busy helping me out even if i didn't insist on seeking assistance." Xiangling rolled her eyes.

Chongyun just watched his two friends argue while chewing on his popsicle. 'Why does he speak highly of this girl...i'm honestly curious to meet her' he thought to himself.

Your POV

"Whoa, so this is what the kitchen looks like... it's so...big." i looked around, it has a perfect place where ingredients are set, pots and firewood. "Yes it is, but help me open this jar of honey! It's stuck!" The emergency food said while gripping on the lid tightly. Aether sighed and smacked paimon off the jar and opened the lid himself. "It's our breaktime because it's lunch, it will be over soon and we'll be continuing our job" Aether leaned on the nearest wall to him.

I checked my phone and it was almost 1 PM. "20 minutes left until 1 PM". Their eyes went wide "That fast!? But i just ate sticky honey roast awhile ago..." Paimon sobbed. "Sorry emergency food but you'll continue your meal later on" he grabbed Paimon as if she was some sort of plushie. "See you soon, Y/N"  "Ugh! Let go of me you blonde simp!"

I just giggled at the two and stepped out of the room, bumping into some broad chest. It was kaeya and he was blocking the path "Hello kaeya, what can i help you with?" I crossed my arms. "I was about to grab a slice of mushroom pizza, sorry for bumping into you". He then gave me a quick peck on the same cheek, a faint blush appeared on my face. Is he teasing me now...
