Because of some future chapters and plot, i changed the reader's age here to 18 while your big brother is 20.

Y/N POV

Me and Aether hurriedly went to the cathedral, as we enter the giant building. We met a few nuns and there we saw amber waiting for us at the other side.

Amber: Congratulations you two, here are your gliding license!
Y/N: We can now glide without any problems, yay!
Amber: I'm not surprised how far you've come, Aether and Y/N. You both are the heroes and of Monstadt after all!
Aether: After all the training and capturing the gliding man, i finally have my own licese...

Amber: I should sign you both up for the Gliding Competition!
Y/N: Wow, it reminds me of the Motorcycle Race Competition back at my world.
Paimon: So did you enter?
Y/N: I did once,  i only got 3rd place.
Amber: Ooh~ since you joined in some racing competition I'll sign you up with aether!
Aether: We're only beginners though...
Amber: I'll be going now! I've got business to attend! Enjoy gliding while following the rules!

Amber then walked passed by us leading to the door of the cathedral.

Paimon: Soooo.. What do to do now?
Aether: Let's test our Windgliders since we finally have a license!
Y/N: How about we have a mini race? As a celebration?
Paimon: Paimon thinks we'll stick to touring around the city first...
Y/N: Alright! Race you to the rooftop of the Cathedral!

I sprinted down the cathedral's hall, and summoned my windglider when i got out. "Wait up, Y/N!" Aether yelled while following me with paimon. As we met up at the rooftop we test our Windgliders and fly around town with paimon. Half an hour later, three of us are getting tired and decide to land..

Y/N: So, where should we land?
Paimon: Hey, isn't that Jean? Talking with someone?
Aether: The person itself seems suspicious, let's land near them..

We both receded to the ground, landing safely near the two person chatting. Well, not too close; but enough to hear their conversation.

Mysterious Girl: ... which what has brought us to this point in the first place. If you can't deal with the Stormterror threat, then leave Mondstadt's defense to the Fatui. We can put an end to Mondstadt's dragon issues, all we need is to bring that monster--
Jean: Did you say "Monster"?
Mysterious Girl: Yes, then what's your point?

Jean: I expect a more professional attitude from your diplomants. Yet here you are saying you want to 'put an end' to one of the Four Winds of Mondstadt? I won't have any of this nonsense infront of the Knights of Favonius.
Mysterious Lady: *giggles* It's not as crazy as it sounds. Fine, that's enough negotiation for today.

"So they're talking about Stormterror?" Paimon asked. "I think so, come on; let's go" Aether said as we approached jean, in deep thought.

Jean: Oh, you three are back..Thanks for your help, the elemental flow is finally stable. However the pressure of delegation is too big to be ignored.
Paimon: Delegation? From inazuma?
Jean: Snezhnaya. They choose to follow the God of Cryo. Their envoys go by a name; The Fatui. Have you heard of them?

Paimon: Nope, so they're infamous.
Jean: Killing Stormterror isn't the right answer, and the Cryo Archon always coveted the Anemo God's Power.
Aether: Speaking of Powers....
Jean: Hm? What is it?
Y/N: There's something we need to show to the Knights of Favonius.
Jean: Then let's head back to the Headquarters...
