"Ask him out, even Samuel can ask someone out, it can't be that hard," John said. The group became closer friends after Alexander and Samuel got together and everyone but Lee was at lunch. Lee decided to get some extra dance practice instead.

Lafayette hung his head and muttered a few things in French before looking up.

"Oui, but he also had the fall out plan of denying it was his because of the coding," Lafayette pointed out.

"Just go into the dance studio, look him in the eyes, and tell him you like him," John said, standing up. He knew Lafayette would refuse to go alone and to be honest, the couple made him feel lovesick.

"No- no, no, I will NOT do that, I will- OW, MON AMI!" Lafayette said as John tugged his ear out of the cafeteria. The two walked through the halls of the school and got to the dance studio. The blaring of music filled both their ears and John smirked at Lafayette. The music restarted itself and John opened the door. The long hall to the studio prevented Lee from hearing the door as he focused on dancing. He was dancing to a song his partner recommended. They both had tank tops and leggings on, and were dancing almost in perfect sync. By the time Lafayette and John were at the end of the hall, the music was almost over. Lee ran forward as part of the dance and glance to the side.

"Lafayette?" he said as he slipped. Lee's partner helped him up and he rubbed his head. Lafayette went over to check on him.

"Je suis désolé, je ne voulais pas te faire peur! Tu vas bien?" Lafayette poured out, unaware he was speaking French.

"...Huh?" Lee said, giving Lafayette a confused look.

"Oh non, he hit his head hard?" Lafayette asked.

"No, you were just speaking French," Lee said, getting up. He grabbed his water bottle and took a sip. His partner packed her stuff and gave Lee a hug before she left. Lee hugged back, adding a few pats after. Lafayette huffed, he rarely got hugs from Lee, let alone ones with pats. Lee put down his water and looked at Lafayette.

"So, what's going on?" he asked, crossing his arms.

"Oh, nothing, I just wanted to see you dancing. You should offer to let us watch you dance," Lafayette said, taking a seat on the bench. Lee laughed and started the music again. He began the carefully thought out choreography and seemed happy as he danced. Lafayette couldn't help but watch each move with intensity. Lee's body moved in ways he couldn't, let alone how fast he was going. The short music faded out as Lee finished with the move he slipped on the last time. He laughed to himself, running his hand through his dark hair. Lafayette blushed a little and just stared at Lee.

"You guys want to see that?" he asked, completely ignoring how flustered Lafayette was.

"I mean– oui, you are very talented," Lafayette said.

"Talented? Nah. Lots of practice and dedication? That's it," Lee said. Lafayette smiled, his blush still very apparent.

"Doesn't mean you're not good," Lafayette said. He didn't notice the fact he was looking at Lee's biceps.

"Laf? My face is here," Lee said. Lafayette blushed and looked up. That didn't help, Lee's face was just as nice as the rest of him.

"Uh- would you, er, like to go out? A-as friends, of course!" Lafayette stammered out. He tried his best to not flip languages.

"Just friends?" Lee asked. His normal, confident tone was gone and he sounded a little upset. Nonetheless, he kept his normal smile and strong stance.

"Oui, 'less you want something else? Best friends?" Lafayette said. Lee huffed and looked Lafayette in the eye. He took a breath and softly kissed Lafayette. Lafayette was startled, unaware his feels have been reciprocated, but still softly kissed back.

"Maybe even more than best friends? Boyfriends?" Lee asked when they finally pulled away. Lafayette couldn't say a thing so he nodded softly.

"Finally," John called from the hall. Soon after, Lee threw a water bottle at him and John screamed at the suddenness.
