"I thought I'd feel cooler", I sourly comment to Tony and Steve through the door of a storage closet "Like Tom Cruise in Top Gun cool."

"Because you're in a green unflattering jumpsuit?" Tony questions through the door "Or because you haven't got the plane to fly?"

Rolling the cuffs on the army jumpsuit to fit my smaller arms and legs, I slide the classy aviators further up the bridge of my nose to shield my deep brown eyes. Tightening my ponytail I yank open the door and give both men an unimpressed look "I feel like a janitor instead of a soldier."

Tony who's adorning a black, slightly bigger than himself to reflect the era suit, amusingly smirks at me. Full of joy Tony mutters in case of pass byers "You look like a three year old kid in a costume." Snapping his fingers Tony gestures with his briefcase towards me "Side note Addie: it's not Halloween yet." Narrowing my eyes I give Tony a solid punch in the side. Although I can't really argue with the comment. Despite the few women I'd spotted in camp from around a corner, I know I'm going to be the most likely to draw a gaze. The jumpsuit is a little baggy. Not too baggy but enough to know I need to go down a size.

Steve, on the other hand, adorning the same look as I, assures me "I think you look fine as always Addie."

Offering Steve a thankful smile I nudge him and tell Tony "This is why I keep Steve around." Not long later we're stepping out and wandering down the United States Camp Lehigh Army Base. Unlike what remains of this place in 2014 when I'd last been here with Steve and Natasha this army base is still thriving. Cargo palates of ammunition and stock are piles around, office women running left and right in their pencil skirts and blouses, soldiers patrolling the camp in rovers. I've never been to an army base before but if I had to imagine it, this is what would come to mind. It feels like I've stepped onto the set of an old war movie.
