The wind blowing my hair around I reject the medical attention offered to me knowing I only have a few bumps and bruises. I escaped any brutal injury's with pure luck but that's not to say I'm not sporting some truly gruesome shades of blue, green, red and black. Spotting Vision in the distance I wave him down with Wanda, her small figure curled into his arms. Stumbling to her feet when Vision sets her down Wanda's eyes gaze warily over the tarmac until she finally seems to finds me through the masses. Walking over I can see the red rims which decorate her eyes. Her eyebrows pinched together as she keeps from falling apart. Deep in my gut I can tell she knows. I don't know how but she knows her brother's gone. "Pietro", Wanda murmurs when she stops in front of me, her eyes downcast "He's..." Unable to finish her sentence, I watch her shoulders shake from her silent sobs. Confirming my suspicions.

"I know." Her tear-filled eyes flicker up to mine is enough to break my heart. Reaching out I pull her small body into my arms. Tucking her head into the crook of my neck I hold Wanda tightly, "I know kiddo." Leaning back I wipe away Wanda's tears, offering her a small smile. "I don't know if this will help", I murmur sympathetically as her sad eyes bore into mine "But Pietro saved a little boy and Clint from the gunfire. He died a hero."

Slowly a sad smile breaks across Wanda's lips, a choked sob falling from her lips "Where is he now?"

"With the others who didn't make it." With a nod inside of the helicarrier I ask, "Want me to take you to him?" Accepting my help I lead Wanda to hanger bay four where the dead are still being laid in neat respectable rows. Despite how many we managed to save the body count is still high. High enough the crew will need to open another hanger bay to lay more to rest. Recalling where I'd laid Pietro with Clint I point her in his direction and giver privacy to say goodbye.

Walking through the familiar halls I easily find the main deck. My gaze sweeping over the computers I give Hill a nod before my eyes fall on Natasha. "Hey, big guy. We did it, the jobs finished. Now I need you to turn this bird around okay?" Natasha seems to be speaking to the Hulk. Eavesdropping I gather that he's taken one of the Quinn Jets "We can't track you in stealth mode so help me out. I need you to-" Suddenly the frequency is cut and Natasha is left staring at an empty screen. With her face hidden behind her bob of red hair I can't tell what she's feeling or thinking. Her head ducked, Natasha breezes past me with a tight-lipped smile.
