"Jackson, respectfully, fuck off", reaching over the bar, I shove his blonde head out of my vicinity before I punch it.

Jackson, however, is hell-bent giving me a hard side-eye "You need to go buy that man a drink."

"You know what", I sarcastically remark, leaning further over the sticky bar "That's it. You've broken me. I'm going to buy that man a drink purely because you told me to."

Hand to his heart, Jackson points to me "I'm giving him a drink on your behalf. Be nice."

Humming I sip at my bourbon "Go ahead Cupid. But if he leaves crying don't come whining to me."

"I mean it." Rolling his eyes Jackson whips his dish rag in my face before moving along to the attractive man at the end of the bar. The wink sent down to me almost has me gagging into my glass.

It's when I'm following Jackson that I catch sight of a familiar face popping hesitantly into the loud bar. Surprised I quickly wave him down. The moment he spots me Bucky eagerly moving through the crowd towards me. "Are you alright?" I warily ask when he finally reaches me "Thought you were writing?"
