"I was just wondering how much practice you had."
"You don't need practice."
"If you have to say that, it's because you need the practice."
Two hours go by and Steve is demanding I swap with him, accusing me of reckless driving- which I completely disagree with. "I'll have you know I'm a fantastic driver", I defend myself as I sliding into the passenger side.
Slamming the door to the driver's side, Steve raises his brows skeptically in my direction "You were going a hundred and seventy in a ninety zone, Addie."
Rolling my eyes I gesture to the road ahead of us, "I acknowledged the signs of recommendation!"
"You mean the speed limit!" He chastises just as loud. Still, a smile discreet as can be worms its way onto his lips.
"Steve, you're a hundred-year-old man", I twist in my seat, arms crossed in lean my side into the backrest "Do you even know how to drive? Were cars around before you froze yourself? Do we need to get you an eyesight check?"
Whilst Natasha chuckles quietly behind Steve's seat, he shakes his head behind the wheel. The tension that hung over the car easing up. "I'll have you know I'm actually ninety-five." Smirk on his lips, Steve spares me a side eye taking the corner gently "If you visited a museum every once in a while you'd know that."
