"My name is Ava..." Ava mumbled, Arthur grinning at them as the other twin avoided to look at me.

"My name is Isabella." Isabella tried saying confidently, but I heard the tremble in her voice.

"Nice to meet you two. I know this may be very sudden and such, but I am Arthur Louie Martin. Your-."

"Tu es ton père, nous savons ..." ( You're your dad, we know... ) Ava interrupted, Arthur cocking his head at the little attitude she was having.

I sure noticed it and I know I'm not one to talk because I give attitude to my parents. But this is Arthur we're talking about and he's too easy and kind.

"Je suis désolé pour la réponse tardive ... Je ne savais pas ... Je ne sais même pas si je devrais dire ça. Mais je ne savais pas que vous existiez tous les deux jusqu'à il y a environ un mois." ( I am sorry for the late response...I did not know...I don't even know if I should say this. But I didn't know you two existed until about a month ago. ) He confessed hesitantly, a frown coming upon their faces.

That's when he looked at me and looked like he was having a panic attack.

"William I'm scared here." He cried, glancing at them as they still looked lost about his words.

"Just explain the situation to them-."

"I can't, not yet at least. Their mother said she wants to wait until I brought them to the United States."

"They need passports. You already have a green card from me since we're married. I don't know if it applies to children as well..." I question, thinking about it some more." We need to look into it when we go home."

Arthur nods, facing the two of them as they avoided making eye contact. I mean, I guess it makes sense. A random guy shows up claiming you're his father and they seem to know already.

"Are you two together?" Isabella asked, and I nod first as I fold my arms.

"Yes, we are. That a problem?" I ask, and she smiles and shakes her head.

"No way! I never knew any men that dated a man... It cool." Ava murmured, smiling and I saw Arthur smile too.

"That is good. Because when you guys come home with us we'll be the two you two will come to when in need. We have your back, especially me. You're my daughters after all." He suddenly reached forward and grabbed each one of their hands. Squeezing them softly and grinning." I want to make up for the years I've missed. Ready to make memories with the love of my heart and now the two new loves of my life?"

I blush and see them blushing too, but theirs were more embarrassment than anything.

"How can you love us when you barely know us?" Isabella asked quietly, Arthur smiling as he glanced at me.

"Didn't you hear me say it's time to make new memories? It'll build from there, trust me," He promised, smiling as they smiled too," So, are you ready and do you trust me?"

It was silent for a hot minute, but the smiles on their faces and the vigorous nods of their heads said a whole different story.

The three of them stood as they hugged, leaving me just sitting here as I smile awkwardly. Not wanting to invade on their family thing.

"William, get up here, mon amour." ( my love ) He squealed almost, making me smile as I stood and joined on the hug fest. All of us hugging and I wondered what it'd be like if we really were to raise these two...

I still have to go to college...

Well, whatever the future hands us, I guess.

Am I ready to start the journey with Arthur, the best man I've ever met in my life...?
