Chapter 10

-Brooklyn-
We went to Diagon Alley first.
"Wow,..." Shawn said. "It's so real,.... Like it actually looks like Diagon Alley."
Everyone laughed. I put my arm around his neck.
"Don't worry." I said. "I'll still date you."
"Ha ha." He said.
He slid his arm around my waist. My arm was still around his neck.
It was really hard because he was so much taller.
I groaned.
"What?" He looked concerned.
I moved my hand and grabbed his.
"Better." I smiled.
We went in to 'Madame Malkin's Robes for all Occasions.'
Shawn bought a black robe that had the
Gryffindor symbol on it.
Shawn bought me one too.
"Thanks Shawn." I smiled.
Next we went to 'Ollivanders.' This time I bought him a wand and me one.
He got Harry Potter and I got Hermione Granger. Aaliyah got Ginny Weasley.
We went to a few more stores and got some more stuff.
Then we went to get ice cream.
Shawn and I walked ahead of his parents.
"I'm having a really great time." I said, looking up at Shawn.
"I'm really glad." He said and he put his arm around my waist.
Shawn and I got butter beer flavored. Aaliyah got strawberry and his parents got pistachio.

"Do you like it?" I asked Shawn.
"Yeah it's pretty good."
"Good." I smiled.
After we got ice cream we went into some more shops and then we went on the ride, Gringotts.
"Are you scared?" I asked Shawn while we were in line.
"No." He said defensively, "Are you?"
"I don't know." I mumbled.
"Really?" He said backing me up against the railing.
"I don't know." I mumbled.
He roughly put his arm around me and kissed my forehead.
"Ewwww." Aaliyah said.
"Don't worry." He mumbled against my skin, "I won't let anything bad ever happen to you."
"Gee thanks." I mumbled.
We moved up in line and before I knew it we were in the front about to go on the next ride.
"Are you pumped?" I asked Shawn.
"Yeah totally." He said. When the girl opened the gate Shawn grabbed my hand and I grabbed Aaliyah's. I already felt like she was my little sister. We all got in the back of the cart and another family got in the front.
"Are you nervous?" I asked Aaliyah.
"I don't know." She mumbled.
"That's exactly what I said." I smiled at her.
Shawn held my hand the entire time. He was so sweet. I actually liked these kinds of rides but I still got a little nervous every time.
I tried to watch all the 3-D stuff. It was really cool. But I couldn't help but look at Shawn his face was filled with such wonderment. I kept smiling at him. The stuff was very realistic and I really enjoyed it. When we got off Shawn took my hand.
"Did you like it?" His parents asked.
We all mumbled 'yeah's and 'it was great.'
Then we went to the Hogwarts Express to rid over to Hogsmeade.
Shawn's parents let us have our own car because we had spent the whole day with them. Aaliyah sat with her parents.
Shawn went and sat close to the window. I sat next to him. He put his arm around me. We watched out the window. Only it was really hard to see because Shawn was so tall.
"Shawn?" I mumbled.
"Yeah baby?" He said turning to me.
"I can't see."
"Oh my god I'm sorry." He grabbed me by my waist and set me on his lap.
I laughed.
He smiled.
I put my arm around his neck. We watched out the window together.
"You know I think I would be a pretty awesome witch." I said turning to Shawn.
"Me too." He smiled and pecked me on the lips.
Then outside of the doors there were two big black figures.
"Do you know what those are?" Shawn whispered.
"Yeah dementors." I whispered back.
"Why are we whispering?" He asked while still whispering.
"I don't know." I whispered.
He laughed at me.
I put my fingers on the side of his face and turned him towards me.
I looked into his eyes and kissed him.
-Shawn-
When we got to Hogsmeade we went in some more shops and then went on the three rides over there.
We were in line for Dragon Challenge. Aaliyah didn't want to go on this one.
"I guess it's just us." Brooke said.
"I guess so." I smiled.
"Are you scared for this one?" She asked me.
"Not really." I said. "Are you?" I asked grabbing her hands.
"A little." She admitted.
I kissed her. "Did that help?"
She giggled.
I smiled. God she was so beautiful. I couldn't help but smile at her.
Before I knew it we were on the ride.
"Shawn?" She looked at me.
"Yeah?" I said.
"I'm scared." She admitted.
I grabbed her hand and the ride started. We put our hands in the air. She was holding my hand the whole time. When we stopped she groaned.
"You okay?" I chuckled.
"Yeah." She smiled.
She still hadn't let go of my hand.
The harnesses came up and we went and met my parents.
Aaliyah went on the next two rides with us which Brooke seemed to really enjoy.
Then we went and ate at the Three Broomsticks. We all got Butterbeer. Brooke tried to pay but nobody would let her. I could tell by the look on her face that this wasn't over. I smiled at her. She smiled back. After we were done eating we went to all the stores and she brought Aaliyah a pink Pygmy Puff and insisted that she buy something for me.
"Shawn I'm serious." She said. "I won't kiss you for the rest of the week."
"Come on." I countered. "I'm irresistible."
"Shawn,....." She groaned.
"No." I said grabbing her hands.
"Yes." She said in a sarcastic voice. I couldn't help but smile.
"Stop it." She said. I could tell she was trying not to smile.
"No." I said. I was still holding her hands.
"Shawn let me buy you something." She begged.
"Fine." I agreed. "But not here."
"Fine." She agreed. She stuck out her tongue. I tried not to laugh.
Then we went into Honeyduke's and I let her buy the candy.
"Thank you." She said and kissed me.
After we were done at Hogsmeade we went back to the hotel.

"Alright kids," Shawn's dad began, "We'll rest for a little and then go out for dinner around 8." It was 4 now.
"But I'm not tired....." Aaliyah complained.
"I am." Shawn stated going in our room.
"Do you mind if I take Aaliyah out?" I asked.
"No not at all sweetie." Mrs. Mendes said, she handed me the keys. "Here take the rental car."
"Thank you." I said.
"You want to go?" I asked Aaliyah.
"Yeah sure." She said.
We went downstairs and when we got in the car she asked:
"Where are we going anyways?"
"I don't know." I paused. "Some store."
"Why?" She asked.
"Because I want to prank Shawn." I said.
She laughed.
"Sound good?"
"Sounds great." She corrected.
