"GAJMUKHASUR ! BAHAR AA DUSHT !" Ganesh called.
Hearing his name Gajmukhasur came out of his cave, and was confused seeing an elephant headed divine boy in front of him.
"Kaun ho tum ?! Aur yaha aane ka dussahas kaise kiya ?" The Asur asked.
"Mai toh tumhe tumhare ku-krityo ke dand dene aya hu." Ganesh said.
"Arrey balak tu janta nahi mai kaun hu ? Galti kardi yaha aake tune. Abhi meri sena tujhe bandhi bana legi !" Gajmukhasur said.
"Kaunsi sena ? Wahi jo mujhse parajit ho waha padi huyi hai ?" Ganesh asked point to the left.
Gajmukhasur gasped seeing his Asur soldiers rendered unconscious, many were pilled up one above another. He then looked back at Ganpati, coming to know that this divine one is not to be taken lightly.
Gajmukhasur summoned a demonic club while Ganesh summoned his divine mace. Both of them lunged at eachother and engaged in a fierce battle.
The pratham-pujya was very well aware that killing Gajmukhasur wasn't an option for the sake of Mahadev's boon, that Ganesh respected extremely. Thus bringing this Asur to the right path was the way forward.
And hence grabbing an opportunity the Vighnaharta jumped and sat over the shoulders of Gajmukhasur and began hitting his head with the mace. It was an amusing sight for anyone.
Gajmukhasur fell down on the ground and Ganesh got up from him. Finding a moment to escape he transformed into a rat and began to run away.
But the Ganadhish wasn't going to let the Asur go away just like that. He summoned a rope and threw it at the rat and caught it firmly, pulling it towards himself.
"Prabhu, kshama kardijiye ! Apaar shakti ke karan mai ahanakari ho gaya tha !" Gajmukhasur said.
"Kisi bhi bhul ko aise hi kshama nahi kar sakte. Tumhe prayaschit karna padega." Ganesh said.
"Prabhu Mai vachan deta hu ki aaj se annt tak mai issi Mushak roop mei aapki seva karunga." He said.
Ganesh thought for a moment before smiling as he knew exactly what service he wants the Mushak to give.
"Uchit hai. Mushak, aaj se mai tumhe mere vahan ke roop mei swikar karta hu." Ganesh said.
"Aap dhanya hai prabhu, mujh jaise paapi ko aisa saubhagya dene hetu. Aap atyant dayavan hai." Mushak bowed.
"Kailash chalo Mushak, anyatha Mata chinta karengi." Ganesh said.
"Jaisi aapki aagya prabhu." Mushak said.

The Gans hailed Ganesh as he entered Kailash mounted over Mushak, his vahan, after restoring peace and order in the cosmos.
"Nandi ji, Maa aur Pitashree kaha hai ?" Ganesh asked mounting off the Mushak.
"Bhavan mei, Kumar Kartikeya ka swagat kar rahe hai." Nandi said.
"Kya ? Kartikeya bhaita aaye hai ?" Ganesh asked excitedly.
"Ha, abhi kuch kshan pehle hi Kumar padhare hai." Nandi said.
Ganesh smiled widely and quickly ran towards the bhavan to meet his brother. Reaching inside he saw him talking to both Mata Parvati and Mahadev. He was exactly how Srinav and Amarsri had described, if not even more glorious.
"Bhaiya Kartikeya !" Ganesh called causing Murugan to look at him.
"Anuj Ganesh !" Kartikeya smiled.
Both the brother quickly made their way towards each other and exchanged a warm embrace. Mata Parvati and Mahadev smiled seeing both their sons.
"Pratham-pujya Ganesh ko mera naman." Kartikeya said.
"Aap mujhse bade hai Bhaiya, meri jay jayakar karke mujhe lajjit na kare." Ganesh said.
"Anuj mai hi kya, teeno lok tumhari jay jayakar kar rahe hai. Pitashree aur Mata ke aashirvad se tum agrapuja ke adhikari ho, tumhe toh naman karna hi padega." Kartikeya smiled.
"Jyesht Srinav aur Jyeshtha Amarsri se aapke parakram aur devtao ke uddhar ki kathaye sun mere hridaye mei aapke darshan ki jo aseem iccha thi woh aaj purn huyi." Ganesh said.
"Yeh jaan kar mujhe atyant anand huya hai Ganesh. Tumhari kirti sun kar mujhe bhi tumse milne ki apaar abhilasha thi." Kartikeya said.
"Pehle Kartikeya ke dwara diya samachar aur ab humare putra ka Bhratru-prem ka yeh drishya... Mera man atyant anandit hai." Mata Parvati said.
"Samachar ? Kaisa samachar Maa ?" Ganesh asked.
"Apne Anuj ko woh sukhad samachar batao Kartikeya." Mahadev said.
"Anuj, humari behen Ashok Sundari ki katha jaante ho ?" Kartikeya asked.
"Ha, Jyesht Bhrata Srinav ne vistaar se batayi thi ki kaise unke karan Mata ka aur sansaar ke shok dur hote hai." Ganesh said.
"Satya vachan. Ashok Sundari ne bahut pehle Hund namak ek asur ko shraap diya tha ki uski mrityu Chandravanshi Raja Nahush ke haatho hogi, jo humari behen ke hone wale pati hai. Mai atyant harsh ke saath sabko yeh suchit karne aya tha ki Nahush ne Hund ka vadh kardiya." Kartikeya said.
"Tatparya ki ab Ashok Sundari Jiji ka vivah hone wala hai ?" Ganesh asked smiling.
"Ha Anuj. Woh shubh samaye aa gaya hai jab Ashok Sundari ka vivah Nahush ke saath ho." Kartikeya smiled.
