Those who still had some questions over his divinity, became clear of all doubts. The mere glance of this swaroop, made them free of their vikaars.
The Vaid, the Mahamantri and Maharani Koperundevi all fell on their knees, with their hands joined as tears kept falling from their eyes.
"Hume kshama karde prabhu ! Humse bahut bada paap huya hai !" Mahamantri and Vaid, rubbed their noses on the ground.
"P-Putra, sabse badi paapini toh mai hu jisne kisi aur ke baat pe aake tumhare mrityu ka prapanch kiya." Koperundevi sobbed.
Ayyappa swami smiled sadly getting off the tigress and walked towards his mother, making her stand up and look at him.
"Mata, itna bada bhi nahi huya hu ki aapko kshama kar saku. Mai toh keval aapse aashirwad ki yaachna kar sakta hu. Ab aagya dijiye." Ayyappa swami said.
"Aagya ?" Koperundevi looked at him confused.
"Mere janm ka udeshya Mahishi ka vadh tha jo maine purn kiya. Ab mere jeevan ka udeshya hai mere bhakto ka kalyaan." Ayyappa said.
"K-Kintu tum toh yaha ke Yuvraj ho putra. Tumhe toh Raja banna hai." Rajshekhara said.
"Nahi Pitashree, mera janm Raja banne hetu nahi huya, apetu sansaar ke kalyaan hetu huya hai. Raja toh mera Anuj Rajrajan hi banega." Ayyappa swami said.
"Putra, hum Mata Pita hai tumhare, yadi tumse milne ka man kare toh ? Tumhare liye bhog aur vastra lana chahu toh ?" Rajshekhara asked.
"Mai aapko vachan deta hu ki mere mandir ke sthapna ke paschat, pratyek makar sankranti ke din, mai aapki bhet swikar karunga." Ayyappa swami said.
"Toh Bhrata, yeh batane ki kripa kare ki aapka mandir kaha sthapit hoga ?" Rajrajan asked.
Ayyappa swami smiled at him and then raised his bow up and summoned an arrow, pulling down the string.
"Ab yeh teer jaha girega, wahi mere mandir ki sthapna hogi." Ayyappa swami said.
He shot the arrow and it fell right on the place where Tapasvini Shabri did 18 pradakshina around him, and there arose stairs with 18 steps.
On the prayers of Rajshekhara and Koperundevi, Devshilpi Vishwakarma created a grand temple around the stairs with 18 steps.
Later on Parshuram, made an idol of Ayyappa Swami and established it inside the shrine. And on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti, Prabhu Ayyappa Swami started residing in the temple.
And such is the glory of Shabrimala temple which would save the devotees from sins till the end of time.
