The worried gods reached the highest of the 14 Lokas, the abode of the creator, Brahmalok.
"Hey Brahmadev, aapne Mahishi ko kya vardaan diya hai jiske karan devo ki shakti uske saamne uphaas ban ke reh gayi hai ?" Brihaspati asked.
"Maine usse yahi vardaan diya ki uski mrityu Narayan aur Mahadev ke ansh se janme putra ke haatho hi ho sakti hai." Brahmadev said.
"Kintu Mahadev aur Narayan toh dono purush hai, unse putra ki utpatti kaise ho sakti hai ?" Suryadev asked.
"Kya aap sab Harihareshwari ke janm ki katha bhul gaye ?" Brahmadev asked.
"Kintu prabhu, Harihareshwari Harihar ki shakti ka swaroop hai, aur Shakti sadev Nari roop mei hoti hai. Lekin Mahishi ko maarne hetu Harihar ke putra ki awashyakta hai." Agnidev said.
"Aapne toh Mahishi ko amritva hi de diya, ab na uski mrityu hogi aur na hi hum usse swarg punah le payenge." Vayudev said.
"Kya ishwar ke liye koi karya asambhav hai ?" Brahmadev asked.
At that the gods looked at him with a confused frown. The creator god just smiled knowingly.
"Aane wali Phalgun Purnima ko, yeh karya bhi sambhav hoga." Brahmadev said.
Down on earth in the Kingdom of Pandalam, the King Rajshekhara and his Queen Koperundevi as usual were praying to both Mahadev and Narayan together.
They always worshiped these two supreme gods together, and always asked for one thing only. A child. Since many years Rajshekhara and Koperundevi were childless.
"Hum par kripa kare prabhu, keval ek aashirwad de." Rajshekhara prayed.
"Santaan sukh de prabhu, santaan sukh de." Koperundevi prayed.
Up in the Swargalok, even after gaining the Indrasan, Mahishi was still burning to take revenge from the gods for what they did to her brother Mahishasur.
"Kya soch rahi hai Maharani ?" One of her Asuri commandant asked.
"Ab toh aap swarg ki Maharani hai, fir kyu chintit hai ?" Another Asuri commandant asked.
"Mera pratishod abhi purn nahi huya. Mai devtao ka sarvasva chheen lena chahti hu. Unko mak shaktiheen bana dungi !" Mahishi said.
"Kintu kaise ?" The commandants asked.
"Prithvi par jitne bhi yagya aur pooja ho rahe hai unse devtao ko bal milta hai. Ab devtao ki aradhna pe mai, swarg ki Maharani Mahishi, pratibandh lagati hu !" Mahishi said.
She stood up from the throne and looked at the her army of Asuris.
"Saathiyo ! Jao aur Prithvi par jitne mandir hai unhe tod do ! Yagya karte Sadhuyo ko maar do ! Jo bhakt devtao ko bhog laga rahe hai unki bhi hatya kardo !" Mahishi ordered.
"JAISI MAHARANI MAHISHI KI ICCHA !" The Asuri army bowed.
