Rajshekhara and Koperundevi were out in the forest for akhet, it's been many years since they had gotten a sense of joy. After months of praying to Harihar for Santaan sukh, a lotus fell on the lap of the Pandalam queen.

This was seen as the indication of Harihar, that her lap would soon carry a child. And it was about to happen as they saw something glowing and shimmering in the river.

Rajshekhara and Koperundevi went towards the river, and saw a shimmering mani which was on a shiny necklace, worn by what seemed to be a baby.

"Kya woh ek shishu hai ?" Rajshekhara asked.

"Ha Maharaj ! Jayiye bachayiye use !" Koperundevi said.

Rajshekhara without any delay, jumped into the river and swam towards the the baby. He was amazed to see him floating on a lotus, there was a divinity in him.

Rajshekhara picked up the baby and cautiously brought him to the shore. Koperundevi took the baby in her hands, cradling him.

"Yeh balak yaha aya kaise ?" Rajshekhara asked.

"Mujhe toh yeh Harihar ka prasaad pratit ho raha hai, Maharaj. Aaj hi unhone meri goud mei kamal ka pushp giraya tha, aur kamal ke pushp se hi yeh nanha balak ab meri goud mei hai." Koperundevi said, lovingly looking at the baby.

"Kintu kya pata iske asli Mata Pita isse khoj rahe ho ?" The sly Mahamantri said coming forward, who wanted nothing but the throne of Pandalam.

"Satya kaha, iss balak ke Mata Pita toh honge hi..." Rajshekhara said.

At that Koperundevi, held the baby closer to her heart. She dreaded whether the suspicioun was true or not.

"Ya fir yeh Bhagwaan ki koi leela ho." A voice said.

They all turned their heads and saw a young man, holding a stick. His aura seemed divine and why wouldn't it ? He was Shreeshaktiswar in disguise.

"Mera hridaye toh keh raha hai, ki yeh Harihar ka prasaad hai." Koperundevi said.

"Maharani, kiski baato mei aa rahi hai aap ? Na jaan na pehechan ? Hum nahi jaante ki yeh kaun hai." Mahamantri said.

"Vastavikta mei Maharaj aur Maharani bhi aapko kaha jaante hai ? Kintu aapka paramarsh maante hai na." Srinav said.

"Y-Yeh kya kahe jaa rahe ho tum !?" The Mahamantri panicked.

"Mahamantri, mai toh bas itna keh raha hu ki uchit paramarsh jo bhi de, use sun lena chahiye." Srinav said.

"M-Maharaj ! Mujhe toh yeh sab kisi ki chaal lag rahi hai ! Yeh shishu koi Mayavi chalawa ho sakta hai !" Mahamantri said.

"Aur kadachit ishwar ka swaroop bhi ho sakta hai." Srinav said.

"Yeh humari murkhta na pramaanit ho jaye !" Mahamantri said.

"Yeh aapki buddhimaani bhi pramaanit ho sakti hai." Srinav said.

Rajshekhara and Koperundevi looked back and forth between Mahamantri and Srinav in disguise. They were getting more and more confused.

"Maharaj aur Maharani, aapka antarman aur hridaye bhakti bhaav se paripurn hai. Yeh shishu aap dono ki bhakti ka hi prasaad hai, kyuki ishwar ne aapko iss balak ka palanhaar niyukt kiya hai. Aur jaha tak prashn raha ki yeh shishu kaun hai aur iske Mata-Pita kaun hai... Woh toh samaye ke saath pata chal jayega." Srinav said.

"Mujhe inki baat uchit lag rahi hai Maharaj, ishwar ne iss balak ko hume saupa hai." Koperundevi said.

"Mujhe bhi aisa hi lag raha hai. Yeh balak toh divya pratit ho raha hai aur chalawa nahi." Rajshekhara said.

"Hey Maharaj, humare iss putra ka naam rakhiye." Koperundevi said. Maharaj thought for a moment and smiled.

"Kyuki iss balak ke gale ke abhushan mei jadi mani ke karan, hum isko khoj paye, humare putra ka naam hoga Manikantha !" Rajshekhara proclaimed.

Koperundevi and Srinav smiled whereas the Mahamantri gritted his teeth.

'Mere aur Singhasan ke madhya ab ek aur badha utpan ho chuki hai.' He thought, clenching his fists.
