A/N - Uhm... I can explain the title

It's still a Nico x Reader story though, I promise.

But may I add a new character to this oneshot book, drumroll please ...

Dionysus: Potato Janitor!!

Me: .... I meant Peter Johnson

Dionysus: Whatever.

It's going to be a bit messy but I hope you don't mind :P

Godly Parent: Free to choose (except Hecate and Hades)

- Third Person's POV -

Nico had gone to visit Hazel in Camp Jupiter. And now you were left alone.

"I said I was bored," you grumped, "I didn't mean that I was desperate."

You had eventually told Chiron about your boredom, since you saw him as a really trustable fatherly figure.

But of course, he told you to do some "chores".

Aka rescuing a dying demigod.

At least this time, you get to drag Percy along with the trouble.

"Well, I was desperate," Percy shrugged, "Annabeth and Jason had been going on and on and on about smart stuff that I couldn't understand... I prefer this."

He gestured towards the half-burned building, "Much more action."

"Persassy Jacksasson," you warned, "Let's pick up the demigod before he's baked."

"Right."

The two of you went inside the building to see a guy cornered by a few empousai.

Of course, it had to be the metal vampires again.

The poor guy looked scared half to death.

One of the empousai lunged at the boy before either you or Percy could do anything.

Only, the boy wasn't actually there. It was just an illusion.

"Oof!" you felt something bump into you.

It was the guy. Like- the actual one. Alive and whole. But terrified.

"Nice one!" you told the dude, "Now stay close to me!"

A huge, burning chunk of the roof fell off.

"HIT THE DECK!"

You and the boy ducked behind some shelves to shelter you from the rubble.

"GARGH!" an empousai popped out of nowhere and slashed your arm.

The guy kicked the monster in the face, "Back off, ugly!"

"Y/N!" Percy called, emerging from the rubble, "The toilets!"

You immediately realized what he was going to do.

You turned to the boy, "Trust me?"

"Do I really have a choice?" he asked, wiping blood and grim off his face.

You took his hand and led him outside of the building, running away as far as possible.

Then, behind you, loud screams and yells could be heard as the building flooded with water.

Percy walked out of the door, grinning, and waved at you and yelled, "ALL GOOD!!"

You sighed, The great hero of  Olympus, everyone.
