Lydia should have known that her peaceful week wouldn't last long. Peace wasn't a word she could use to describe her life. It went from one drama to the next, with maybe a few days of relaxation in between. The more relaxed she felt, the worst it would be and now, it was pretty bad. She just got back from one journey and now had to set off on her own. Unfortunately, this time wasn't like the last because she had people watching her like a hawk now and she couldn't let everyone in on this. Not just yet. For now, there were only two people she reached out to even though she didn't want to.

"Hey, Starry Eyes," Damon's voice snapped her out of her thoughts, waving his head around to capture her attention and get her to stop pacing around the living room nervously."Did being around someone as crazy as Silas cause you to lose out on your sanity?"

"Yeah, he finished what you started," Lydia retorted before she threw herself down on the couch and shook her head as she tried to figure out exactly how she was going to pull this off.

"Damon's right, Lyds. Your idea is questionable," Jeremy agreed with Damon."Are we really going to trust some random person who we don't even know?"

Lydia resisted the urge to roll her eyes at Jeremy, regretting every asking him to come over in the first place. They didn't have much of a relationship anymore, but she thought that he could be helpful given the situation.

"Not we," Lydia corrected her older brother."Me. Like I said. I only told Damon because I need someone to cover for me while I go do this because I can't lie to save my life and if anyone else finds out about this, they'll try to stop me or go with me and I don't want to get their hopes up. And Jeremy, I only told you because you can contact Bonnie, so I figured you'd be helpful. Clearly that was my mistake. You can find your way out. Besides, there's no reason we shouldn't trust her."

"Lydia, if I said it once, I said it a thousand times," Damon huffed in annoyance."It is not a good idea to go hunt down some magical tool because some creepy dead witch came to you in your sleep and told you to."

"She's not dead and she didn't come to me in my sleep," Lydia corrected before pausing for a moment."She just popped up behind me in the kitchen. Trust doesn't mean anything really. I thought I could trust the two of you and I ended up dead because of it."

"You used to be nice," Damon pointed out."And smart. The type of girl who knew when she was getting into something stupid and agreed to stay out of the way."

"And like I just said, that got me killed," Lydia narrowed her eyes at Damon, she didn't have to remind him that he was part of the reason for that."Now, are you going to help me resurrect a witch that doesn't even like me or what?"
