He faced us and breathed out. "He's right. The Battle Scribe speaks the truth. I am on your side, and I'm here... to warn you about my Father, Emperor Nagathom."

"And you expect me to believe that?" my brother snarled, and pointed his a glowing greatsword at Ganymede. "We already know your father's dangerous. How could we even trust you?"

"You should. For I speak the truth. Though I hail from the Doryeshid Empire, full-blooded Prince and heir to the throne, make no mistake. I am your ally."

"Uh, guys, we shouldn't be here." saad ni Prefecture at luminga-linga pa ito na parang may inaabangang nakakatakot. "This is Howler Territory—"

"How cheeky. Your brother and sister tried to kill us. Now someone from the same lineage is suddenly a good guy? What are the odds, huh?" sarkastikong sagot ni Kuya at nagliliwanag ng matindi ang kahel niyang mga mata.

Even the temperature around us changed a bit and became hotter. It was as if any time, he'd burst like a bomb.

"He isn't lying... Commander. We have to trust him."

Napatingin kaming lahat kay Koji nang sambitin niya ang mga salitang 'yon. But I can't say I agree with him. Kahit ako man ay wala pang tiwala kay Ganymede. I was thinking that he might just be a tricky AI NPC just like his youngest sister Granidelia, pretending to have a green healthbar.

"Oh. No, Koji. I do trust you little guy, but that?" my brother pointed one of his glowing greatswords at Ganymede with a deathly stare, then looked back at the Battle Scribe. "I don't trust 'that thing.' My brother's safety is top priority, and gambling on potential allies isn't on the list."

"Guys, guys. I'm telling you. We should get out of here. Any minute now, those huge Howlers will come—"

"Alright." the Prince replied to my brother, both of them ignoring Prefecture's whispers. "If you sense any tinge of evil or even betrayal from me, you may take my life... on the spot. After all, you are the Sun Prince. Divine blood courses through your veins; you have the right to judge me and powerful enough to smite me on the spot... if I stray away from the light. Can we agree on that?"

So like Granidelia and Gerardum, Ganymede also seemed to recognize my brother. Magsasalita na rin sana ako para tumigil na silang dalawa, pero sumagot pa itong si Kuya. Talaga 'tong si Kuya. Pati sa NPC, masyadong mapagpatol. It's a freaking NPC, not a human. Why was he so riled up?

"What if I just do it now?" my brother calmly said as he slashed his sword sideways, creating a yellow-colored after slash aimed at Ganymede.

"Commander!"

"Kuya!"

Ang akala ko ay matatamaan si Ganymede ng mabilis at nagliliwanag na after slash ni Kuya. But the Eldest Prince of Doryeshid quickly waved his left hand to the right as though catching the after slash. With a brief and almost unnoticeable flash of light from Ganymede's left hand, the after slash got deflected and bounced away from him. Umusok lang ng kaunti ang kanyang kaliwang kamay dahil sa nagawa niya.
