My mouth went agape in shock, when the fading mist revealed a different person, sitting at the very spot where Koji previously stood.
It was a boy, dressed in a battle mage's clothing. His copper-gold colored eyes, immediately gave me a calculating stare, with a sheathed Katana held by his right hand. He wasn't actually sitting; he was in a squatting stance, as if ready to jump and pull his katana out of its scabbard.

Surprisingly, when I looked ahead, the Field bosses seemed to be unbothered by what just happened before us. Ang akala ko ay mati-trigger ang agro nila dahil sa malakas na liwanag kanina. But they remained there, far from us; not even noticing our presence.
The person in front of us was wearing a dark gray-colored long-sleeved mage clothing, which had gold accents. He also had a surprisingly white-colored hood. His hair was black but he had obvious white strands on his head.
Pero nalito ako nang makita ko ang status bars na nakalutang sa ibabaw niya. Tulad ng usual status bar ng isang player, meron ding ganito ang batang lalaki nanasa harapan namin ni Conrad. The name indicated on the IGN panel was... Koj'akim.

"Koji?" ngunot-noong tanong ko sa bata sa harapan namin, na may hawak na katana. "Royal... Battle-Scribe?"
What in the world is this? Naging batang NPC si Koji? It's confusing. He has a player avatar's status bars; mana level, health gauge, and IGN panel. At bakit Royal Battle-Scribe? His height and appearance was like a 10 year-old boy. Hanggang lagpas tiyan lang namin ni Conrad ang taas ng batang lalaki.
