"Well, of course." my brother replied and inched nearer to Daniel. My brother's expression suddenly changed and became serious. "How could I ever forget the man who's the sole reason why my supposed-to-be fiancée was killed?"

"What?" lito kong tanong at nagpabalik-balik ang tingin ko sa kanila. "Kilala mo girlfriend ni Kuya?"

Daniel only looked at me with a confused expression, then faced my brother again. "Wh-what are you talking about? I barely even know you in real life."

What Daniel said was true, since he only saw my older brother in-game and hasn't seen what he really looks like in real life.

"Agent Roldan, right? Cheongju Terror Incident? Assignment 236-O? Plus the luxury cruise ship that exploded by the Han River?" my brother confidently said, pasting a smirk on his lips.

"Huh?" nagsalubong bigla ang mga kilay ni Daniel at kiitang-kita sa mga mata niya ang inis. "Wait. That's supposed to be confidential information! How were you—"

"As far as government data is concerned, we in our team, have a terrible— terrible habit of gathering every bit of information, trivial or not. We have the right, actually. So you're sent again by your unreliable International Police Bureau, para saan? To protect my brother? Patawa." my brother slowly shook his head, smirked, with arms folded over his chest, and leaned his head a bit to the right. It was as if he was mocking Daniel.

I pursed my lips to remained silent and watched them argue. Marami akong tanong sa kanilang dalawa, pero parang may unsettled na issue sa dalawang ito sa harapan ko, na ngayon ko lang nalaman. Makakahintay ang mga tanong ko. Eentra na lang ako kung sakaling maisipan nilang magsapakan. Hay nako.

"I won't be even sent if this country had an Interpol Bureau in the first place!" Daniel, who was evidently agitated, replied with gritted teeth. "So what if I was sent to protect your—"

"Wala akong tiwala sa'yo eh. 'Yong dapat ko ngang fiancée, di mo naprotektahan. Kapatid ko pa kaya?" my brother calmly retorted, now placing his hands behind him. "Bro, baka may ikakapal pa 'yang mukha mo. Sagad mo na."

"Uy grabe yorn."

"Burn."

"Sheesh."

"Yo. Daddy, chill."

"Kalma ka lang, chief."

The cops around and behind my brother made random comments after he said that line, obviously mocking Daniel... for whatever he did. The Interpol agent, whose jaw was already slightly clenching, inched closer to the Anti-Cybercrime Department Chief.

That one step from Daniel made the cops behind my brother draw nearer to their department chief. Naging seryoso ang mga expression nila at lahat sila'y nagbigay ng makahulugang titig kay Daniel. Kulang na lang ay bunutin nilang lahat ang mga tazer gun nila at itutok kay Daniel, sakaling may gawin siya.

I could even see their hands ready to hold on to their tazer guns' holsters. It just shows that my brother's department members are so alert and are ready to defend him. Kita sa mukha ni Daniel ang bahagyang pagkagulat nang dahan-dahang paligiran si Kuya ng mga department members niya.

The Interpol agent glared back at my older brother. "Hindi ko alam kung saan niyo 'yan nalaman. But I'm telling you; it wasn't my fault—"

"As said by all Interpol agents. What's new? Kahit sino naman sa inyong mga taga-Interpol ang tanungin ko, ganyan din naman ang sagot sa'kin. You were assigned to fetch her and give her cover, but failed miserably. Paanong hindi mo kasalanan 'yon?"
