You were hanging out with Susan and Alli at school that day. It was a nice day. Sunny and warm.

-What will you go dressed as at the Halloween party next week?
-I've got no idea you laughed.
-Well we've got some time till then to get ready.

You saw Daniel at his locker.

-Hey Alli waved at him with a warm smile formed on her lips.

He saw her but he moved away. Shit something must've happened again.

Daniel was not the kind of guys that don't wave back or from one day to other they suddenly stop talking to you.

-Let me talk to him you said.
-You think the cobras did something to him again?

Her eyes full of care.

You supposed so but instead you preferred to stay silent and left.

You found him at the cafeteria.

-Ok what's going on?

He didn't turn to look at you.

-What do you mean?
-You know very well. Alli waved you and you ignored her. I thought you like this girl.

He stayed silent.

You sighed.

-Will you at least look at me? you said annoyed

He did. You noticed a big black bruise on his forehead.

-Daniel..
-Don't say it. I'm fine.
-Did the cobras do this to you?
-Y/N please don't get involved in this alright..?

You didn't listen. You were tired of all this situation with these little deepshits. They dared to lay their hands on Daniel once again. Who do they even think they are?

The school's famous guys. You didn't care though. You never did. Being popular is just a label nothing more.

You went outside furiously.

You spotted the cobra kais and walked over to them quickly.

Tommy noticed you first.

-Let's see who's here. he laughed

-Did you lost your way or something? Johnny joked

-You fucking little bastards

-Woah woah take it easy there princess he laughed again

-You lay your hands on him again you deepshits..
-And what? What will you do?

He came closer to you. He could feel your eyes spitting out flames. He liked that.

-You want war Lawrence? You'll have him.

He smirked.

-And who will fight. You?

The boys laughed. You gave them a murdering look.

Mr Harris was luckily passing right next to you.

You came even closer to Johnny.

-Just watch you whispered imitating his facial expression and the tone of his voice when he had said that to you a few weeks ago.

-Mr Harris excuse me.
-Yes?
-I'm Y/N Y/L/N we are having history together.
-Yes yes of course I remember.

Johnny's stare was full on you. You tried not to laugh with the confusion in his eyes.

-My friends here are facing some difficulties with your subject and they're too shy to ask for an extra lesson.
-Oh I see. There is no reason to be shy boys. I am free after school just tell me what chapters would you like me to revise.

You glanced at Johnny with a victorious look in your eyes raising your eyebrow. He looked at you pissed and he kept rolling his tongue inside his mouth.

-What about you Mrs Y/L/N?

You opened your mouth to respond but Johnny spoke faster.

-Y/N would love some revision too Mr Harris.
-I'ld love to but unfortunately I've got some things to do.
-It's alright Y/N don't worry.

Mr Harris left.

You smiled at the boys. They all looked so angry and kept swearing. Johnny was just glancing at you with that familiar look as if he wanted to kill you.

-Game on. you smirked and left.

-I hate this girl man. Johnny shouted as he kicked with force the bin next to him.

-Don't worry man we're gonna make her pay for that.

It felt so good. You knew deep inside you that this joy wouldn't last long. You hoped that this little war would at least turn their attention on you and make them forget about Daniel.

You sat right next to him at the school yard.

-Everything is fine you can talk to Alli know.
-Wait what did you do?
-Let's say that I took care of it.
-Jesus Y/N. he shouted
-Danny. They punched you in the face more than once in the last two months.
-They didn't. This one here is from the bike. They made me fall I didn't got punched.
-Wow. you yelled. They fucking made you fall?
-Yeah well..

You tried to stay calm. You took a deep breath.

-Remember when I told you that I wanted to start karate?

You nodded as you knew that you'ld scream if you tried to open your mouth and talk.

-Well.. accidentally I went to their dojo.
-Oh my god.. you rolled your eyes.
-I'm fine now though..

You sighed again.

-Ok..you finally said

You smiled at him. He responded.

-Danny you're my best friend ok? I care about you that's why I'm acting like this.
-Yeah I know. Thanks bestie he joked

You laughed.

-Could you give me a lift home by the way? I kinda missed the bus. you said
-Yes let's go.

You both went on his bike.

-Did Alli tell you anything about this? he asked
-No she was just upset of you ignoring her.
-Oh..
