I predicted that Katie would have an early lunch.

So I guess it's just me and-

He's coming.

He's wondering why you're sitting all alone.

"Why so lonely?" the boy with the blue hair cooed, lifting his neon blue bag off of his back and onto the bench I was sitting on. He sat right next to me.

All of his school supplies are the same shade of blue.

Of course, I repeated in my head. Of course.

"My only friend has a different lunch period. No big deal."

"Big deal!" his eyes grew wide. "No one wants to be alone."

"Someone would want to if it involves getting lost in an intense picture book."

"The Young Avengers, huh?" he said, peering over at my iPhone screen on my digital comic book app.

"Who's your favorite?"

Speed.

"Speed."

I looked over my phone and smirked at him.

"I know, cliché answer," he grinned, ruffling up his blue hair. "You?"

"Wanda. Loved her in AoU."

"Yeah, she's pretty cool too..."

He likes Pietro better than Wanda.

"... But not as cool as her twin brother."

"Umm... Who died in that movie again?"

Pietro is his role model.

He wants to be Pietro.

I swore under my breath as he burst into laughter, fearing that he'd be offended at my witty comment.

"Okay, okay. I just strive to be him. He's one of my role models."

"Well, my only role model," he added.

"What about the Flash?" I looked at him. "He's faster."

He's not a DC fan.

I swore to myself again.

Sometimes these predictions come too late.

"Ehh, I'm not that big of a DC fan," he whined. "I could just relate to Quick and Speed more. We have somewhat similar personalities."

"I see."

"Wanna enjoy those sandwiches outside?"

We picked up our bags.

"I mean, I actually saved you from starvation by bringing back your cool lunchbox."
