Y/N's POV
"Can I have my baby back?"
I choked on my saliva when Jungkook grabbed my wrist and pulled me up a little bit too harshly, making our bodies slam against each other.
The boys in the room gasped when their maknae twirled me around to face them as he hugged me from behind, swaying our bodies together.
My cheek reddened when everyone's attention were now on us. Even Yoongi who normally doesn't give a damn about other people's business turned to look at me with a blank face.
"Everybody, I have an announcement to make."
Jungkook declared, raising his voice a little as I felt his grip around my waist tightened.
"This is my girlfriend, Y/N. We have been dating for some time now and—"
Before he could finish his announcement, I tapped his hands that were around my waist, signalling him that he was squeezing me too hard.
He quickly apologised and loosened his grip around me. I took this opportunity to turn around to face him, gasping softly when I realised how close our faces were.
"Outside."
I muttered before wiggling myself out from his embrace.
"But—"
He protested but immediately got cut off by me sending him a glare.
"Now, please."
He gave in and told Donghee to take the other members to the salon first.
I dragged him to wherever my feet took me to and we ended up at the park near his dorm. Luckily, there were no little children running around. It was a cold and empty park.
We sat on the swings and let silence take over for a few minutes before I spoke up.
"Jungkook, shouldn't you tell me beforehand if you're going to tell them that we're a thing?"
I said, looking at the clear blue sky and shivering a little when the wind brushed against my hair.
"I'm not going to apologise for that, because I was upset seeing you touch Donghee."
My head shot up to him when he said that in a cold tone.
I pulled his swing chain towards me, causing him to widen his eyes at me as he tightened his grip on the chain so that he wouldn't fall.
"Are you jealous?"
A smirk danced on my lips unconsciously. I kinda enjoyed seeing him flustered as his cheeks and ears slowly turned into a shade of Scarlett red.
"I'm not."
I laughed out loud when he averted his gaze from me. It was obvious that he was jelly.
"Yah! Even if I was jealous, I have all the rights to be."
He pouted as I placed my hand on his head and caressed his hair gently, making sure not to mess it up.
"And why do you have the rights?"
"Because I'm your boyfriend."
He answered cheekily, taking my hand that was touching his hair into his, leaving a soft peck on it.
"You're cute, Jungkook."
I giggled and pinched his cheeks as he grinned ear to ear.
"I know, noona."
I coughed at that nickname, enlarging my eyes at him when he smiled innocently.
"Excuse me, what?"
"Noona, I can't call you that? Donghee can and I can't? But you're 5 months older than me."
I felt my heartbeat increase when he pulled my swing chain closer to his, closing the gap between us.
"We should get going. You're late."

Jungkook's POV
The rehearsal finished earlier than we expected. Donghee drove us back to our dorms.
I got questioned a lot after announcing my relationship with Y/N, but I answered them patiently.
After taking a shower, I dived into my comfy bed and checked my phone from the nightstand since I was busy for the whole day.
I quickly sat up when I received a few texts from Y/N.

im sorry i just got home
is there anything wrong?

there were just some articles abt us
and some photos of us
are u okay with it?
Me:

I didn't even need to search for my name. Once I typed in J in the search engine, it popped up a bunch of articles like, 'Jungkook BTS dating?' 'Jeon Jungkook's new girlfriend' and many more surprising creative titles.
I clicked onto the first one and I jumped up from my bed when I saw photos of us at the park and there were photos even when we were at Busan.
Hesitantly, I scrolled down to the comments section and felt my body burning when there were some mean comments about Y/N.
I stormed out of my room and put on a coat, getting ready to go to Y/N's apartment but got stopped immediately by Yoongi who shook his head with a sigh.
"I need to go to her."
I said firmly, practically begging him to let me go.
"Jungkook, now is not a good time. The annoying paparazzis may be outside now waiting for you to come out and harass you."
He said calmly, tightening his grip on my wrist.
Soon, Jin came out from his room as well.
"Suga is right. You'll see her at work tomorrow. I'm sure she wants some time alone as well."
I bit onto my bottom lip anxiously and thought for a moment before nodding. After drinking a glass of water, I went back to my room and texted Y/N.

I set down my phone on the table and let out a huge sigh.
"Who the hell is 'moao'?"
I flinched when I saw Jimin standing behind me, reading my texts with Y/N.
"Hyung! When did you get in here? You're invading my privacy!"
I whined and pushed him out of the room as he stumbled back.
"Sorry, I tried to call you but you were too focused on texting, you didn't even answer me. So who's 'moao'?
He leaned his body against the door and folded his arms in front of his chest with a small smirk.
"My one and only."
Y/N's POV
"Why did you lie?"
Jinyoung raised a brow at me as I let out a heavy sigh and threw my phone to aside.
I looked at the boy who was sitting crisscross applesauce beside me on the couch. Hae Na couldn't come since she was busy doing stuff.
"I don't want him to worry about me. He already has a lot of pressure and concerns especially with his busy schedule. I'll just be a burden to him."
I said, leaning back on the head rest leisurely.
"Still, you shouldn't lie. What would your boyfriend think when his girlfriend told him that she was going to bed and here she is watching dramas with her guy friend?"
"Can you not interrupt the kiss scene?"
I rolled my eyes and pressed rewind since I missed what the male lead had said to the female lead.
"Can I talk now?"
I nodded to Jinyoung when the romantic scene ended.
"Are you really okay with all those comments about you? Are you totally fine with the articles about you and Jungkook?"
I gulped hard before taking a deep breath in and exhaled sharply, turning to face Jinyoung who had a concerned look on his face.
"I have to be okay even if I'm not, right? It's not like it's the end of the world just because of some hate comments on the Internet."
I mumbled out loud enough for him to hear.
He rested his hand on my shoulder and squeezed it gently before pulling me in for a warm hug
"Y/N, it's okay not to be okay."
