It was around ten o'clock on a Friday night as you were watching a movie before you headed off to bed for the night after having a busy day from working on your upcoming movie you're starring in. You wore a black tank top and gray sweatpants in case you fell asleep on your couch while watching the movie. It didn't take long before your eyes were starting to droop as sleep was getting ready to take over you.
But it didn't last long when you, suddenly, heard a knock at your apartment door. Startled, you shut off the television and got off the couch as you headed to front door, confused. "Who could be here this late at night?" You asked yourself, as you made it to the door and unlocked it to see who it was. When you opened the door, you were not expecting to see your best friend, Johnny Depp, in front of you.
You couldn't believe it was Johnny after not seeing him for two years after he married Amber Heard. The two of you have been best friends since you both have been in a couple of movies together and have been hanging out together for almost seven years. When he married Amber, you didn't want to interfere with his marriage since she didn't want you around Johnny. It hurt you that you couldn't be around him, but you didn't want to stir up some conflict with her and ruin your friendship with Johnny, so you decided not to contact him. Looking at him right now, his eyes were red and tear stained as if he's been crying for a long time all day and he looked like he wasn't feeling good as he looked a bit skinny than his average size.
"Johnny!" You exclaimed, as you wrapped your arms around him and embraced him in a gentle hug. Johnny wrapped his arms around you, tightly, as if he was holding onto you for dear life. "Hey, (y/n)." He said, softy, by your ear. Moments later, you pulled away from the hug and looked at him. "I haven't seen you for a long time. What are you doing here, Johnny, especially this late at night?" You asked. "I...I didn't know where else to go and who to speak with. Then, I thought of you and I wanted to see you because you're one of the closest people to me, (y/n)." Johnny said, sadly. "Well, come in and talk with me, Johnny. I can tell you're upset." You said, as you gestured him to step inside your apartment and he did.
You and Johnny walked into your living room and he sat down on your couch, while you remained standing. "You want me to bring you something, Johnny? Are you hungry? Or are you thirsty?" You asked, politely. "I do feel a little dehydrated. I would like something to drink, please, (y/n)." Johnny said. "I might not have any drinks that you like. Would you like some water? Soda? Juice? Or do you want me to brew you some coffee?" "I'll take a glass of water." He answered. "Sure thing." You said, and, then, you went to your kitchen to get a glass of water for Johnny. After that, you went back to the living room and handed him the glass of water and sat on the couch next to him. "Thank you, (y/n)." Johnny said, before he started drinking his water, almost too quickly. "Of course, Johnny." You said.
After Johnny finished drinking his glass of water, he set the glass on your coffee table. "Do you feel better, Johnny?" You asked. Johnny cleared his throat and said, "My throat feels better, but my heart isn't, to be honest, (y/n)." You placed your hand on his knee and rubbed it a bit and said, "Tell me what's wrong, Johnny. This is not like you." Johnny sat up a bit, took a deep breath, and said, "Amber and I going through an ugly divorce and she's been telling the whole world that I've abused her since the beginning of our marriage." When he said that, you were in complete shock. "What?!" You exclaimed. He nodded and continued saying, "Yes. It's true. But I've never hit her or abused her during our marriage or anytime before we got married."

For the next hour and a half, Johnny told you everything about what's been happening. He told you everything that Amber has been doing to him, like hitting him with pots and pans and throwing a broken vodka bottle at his finger that caused it to cut severely on the tip of his finger that almost costed his life. Hearing all the accusations that Amber had made against Johnny to the whole world made you angry inside because you knew him very well and he was never that kind of person towards you or any of his former girlfriends or costars that Amber claims him to be.
"After she made those accusations against me, Disney fired me and everyone has been looking at me differently, in a bad way. I feel like everyone, except my kids, Vanessa, and those out there who believe me, had turned their backs on me and I feel like my career is completely ruined. That's why I came here to see you, (y/n). I feel alone and helpless and needed to be the one person that knows me very well. You do believe me, don't you, (y/n)?" Johnny asked, sounding worried.
"Of course I believe you, Johnny. I know you very well and I know you would never do anything like that. I didn't like her the moment she didn't want me around you and I thought she seemed very controlling. I'm sure she's doing this to ruin your career and make hers better. She's not even that good anyway. You're a talented, hardworking actor and I feel bad that you have to go through with this mess, Johnny. You don't deserve any of this." You said.
Johnny stared at you, with tenderness in his dark brown eyes, the whole time while you were talking. It's like he's was starting feel a lot better than earlier after hearing your words. "I'm so glad I came to you, (y/n). I'm starting to feel better than before." He said, smiling a bit. You smiled back at him and blushed a little bit. "I'm glad you're starting to feel better, Johnny. It makes me happy to hear that." You said. Then, Johnny scooted forward and he wrapped his arms around you and embraced you in a tight, but gentle hug. "I've missed you so much, (y/n)." He said, softly. You wrapped your arms around him and hugged him back and said, softly, "I've missed you too, Johnny."
Moments later, you both pulled away from the hug and you looked down at your watch and it was already passed midnight. "Johnny, would you like to stay here for the night? I don't want you to drive in the middle of the night if you're feeling tired." You offered. "Sure. I'll stay the night with you. I do feel tired after having a rough day." "Great. Come on, I'll show you where the guest bedroom is." You said, as you got up from the couch and gestured Johnny to follow you to the guest bedroom. When you both got there, Johnny walked inside and observed it for a moment. "Make yourself at home, Johnny. I'll be back in a couple minutes." You said. Johnny nodded at you, with a smile, and simply said, "Okay, (y/n)." Then, you left and went to your bathroom to brush your teeth.
After you were finished, you went back to the guest bedroom to check on Johnny. When you got to his room, you saw him still awake in bed, without his shirt on. You blushed and squealed, mentally, like a fan girl when you saw him shirtless. You've never seen him shirtless, even when you both were in movies together, it wasn't too muscular, but he still looked very attractive. "How are you doing, Johnny?" You asked. Johnny smiled up at you and said, "I'm doing great, (y/n). Thank you for letting me stay here." "Of course, Johnny. You're my best friend and you're always more than welcome to stay here as long as you want." You said. "I'm glad to have you in my life, (y/n)." He said.
"Is there anything else that you need before I go to bed, Johnny?" You asked. "Actually, there is one thing that I need." Johnny answered. "What is it?" You asked, curiously. "Come here." He said, gesturing you to walk over to him. You were confused as you walked over to his bed. "What is it that you need, Johnny?" You asked. Then, he held his hands out towards you and he said, softly, "Come here, sweetheart." You took his hands, still confused on what he wanted, and, then, he started to, slowly, pull you towards him. You climbed into bed with him while he scooted over and he placed his hands on your shoulders as he, gently, laid you down next to him.
"This is what I need. You, (y/n). I need my best friend and the love and warmth from your heart." Johnny said, as he pulled the covers over you and covered your body as much as he could to make sure you were warm. Your heart started to flutter after he said that to you. "Oh, Johnny, you're so sweet." You said, as you turned on your side so that you were facing him. Johnny turned on his side and said, while smiling, "Not as sweet as you, (y/n)." You chuckled, softly.
You and Johnny did nothing but stare into each other's eyes for a minute. Johnny noticed a strand of your (h/l) (h/c) hair hanging on the side of your face, so he, gently, took it and tucked it behind your ear. Then, he placed his hand on the side of your head. "You're so beautiful." He whispered, as he began stroking your temple with his thumb. You sighed, softly, as you relaxed from his touch. "Being here with you, (y/n), made me realize that I've made the biggest mistake of my life." Johnny said. "And what would that be?" You asked. "That I should be with the one that's right in front of me instead of being with that horrible woman." He said, as scooted closer towards you, where he was close to your face.
You couldn't believe what Johnny said to you. After all these years, since you both have met and became best friends, he's admitted that he should've been with you instead of being with that Amber woman. You never thought he would say that to you because you didn't know how he felt about you since you had feelings for him for all these years. "Really, Johnny?" You questioned, softly. Johnny caressed your cheek with his hand and said, softly, "Of course, my sweet (y/n). After all, you've healed my heart." Then, he leaned forward, closed his eyes, and pressed his lips against yours. You were surprised at first, but, then, you closed your eyes and kissed him back.
As you both were kissing, you both laid down on your pillow as the kiss was becoming more passionate. Moments later, you both pulled away from the kiss and the two of you looked into each other's eyes. "You have no idea how long I've been wanting to that with you, Johnny." You said. "Same here, sweetheart." Johnny whispered, before he placed a kiss on tip of your nose, which made you giggle. Then, you let out a yawn as sleep, once again, was starting to take over you. "You're tired, (y/n). Let's go to sleep." Johnny said, and, then, he turned the nightstand lamp off and he wrapped his arms around you again, while you snuggled against his bare chest.
"(y/n)?" Johnny whispered, in your ear. "Yeah, Johnny?" You whispered back. "I love you." He said. You smiled and sighed, happily, as you snuggled more closer against his chest and responded, "I love you too, Johnny." Then, you closed your eyes and fell completely asleep. Johnny wrapped one arm around your waist, while he placed his other hand on the back of your head, as he closed his eyes and fell asleep with you.
