"Just ice cream? That's what you're gonna eat for lunch?" Maya asked as she looked at Farkle.
"Nope. It's been in my bag all day, so I'm gonna drink it." Farkle said before he pulled the ice cream out of his backpack.
"Why?"
"Because I wanna meet Kesha. Dang it!" Farkle said after he pulled a disk with a K on it out of the carton.
"Kesha's not in there?" Luke asked with a chuckle.
"No. I got another stupid K." Farkle said as he put the carton down.
"Is this about that contest?" Amzie asked before Farkle nodded.
"What?"
"Kesha's doing this thing with Lichterz Ice Cream. There's a letter at the bottom of every pint. You need to get a K, E, S, H, or an A and if you find the letters that spell Kesha, you win a private concert." Farkle said.
"—from Kesha?"
"Yep, but so far this week, I've eaten eleven pints of ice cream and all I've gotten are eleven Ks." Farkle said before Emma walked into the bakery.
"Hey, Emma."
"I need your opinion." Emma said as she looked at her brother.
"—on—?"
"Let's say a person made a deal with someone." Emma said.
"What kind of deal?" Luke asked before he took a bite of his salad.
"Like they'd promise to do something. Should that person have to keep their word?" Emma asked before Luke nodded.
"Yeah. A deal's a deal."
"—even if it was like ten years ago?" Emma asked.
"Yeah. You have to keep your word no matter how long ago it was." Luke said before he took a sip of his lemonade.
"I'm so glad you feel that way because maybe you remember this from when you were eight and I was nine." Emma said before she handed Luke a piece of paper.
"Oh my God. I remember this." Luke said as he read over the paper.
"Read it."
"When I, Lucas Ross, am eighteen years old, I will be on the Lakers and will be roommates with Kobe Bryant." Luke read before everyone chuckled.
"You don't live with Kobe Bryant." Maya said as she looked at him.
"I know I don't live with Kobe Bryant, May."
"Yeah. Read what you said you'd do if it didn't happen." Emma said as she nodded to the paper.
"I will be Emma Evangeline's assistant and do whatever she says for a whole month." Luke said before Emma nodded.
"That's right."
"So? I wrote this when I was eight." Luke said as he put the paper on the table.
"Yeah, and who was it who said you have to keep your word no matter how long ago it was?" Emma asked with a smirk.
"Martin Luther King!"
"No. Martin Luther King gave the speech about having a dream." Farkle said as he looked at Maya.
"Don't worry, Luke. I'm not gonna be unreasonable." Emma said before Luke looked at his friends.
"Will you guys tell her she's being ridiculous?"
"Well, you did make a deal." Farkle said as the girls nodded.
"You did say a person should keep their word." Amzie said.
"Thank you. Here's a list of things you need to do for me." Emma said before she handed Luke a list.
"—but I don't—"
"I'll have another list for you in the morning." Emma said before she left.
"I have to go to the Hamptons and wash her pony?" Luke asked as he looked at everyone.
"Luke! Luke!"
"What?"
"I want something." Emma said before Luke sighed and walked over to her.
"How can I assist you?"
"I don't like this song. I need you to change it." Emma said as she gestured to her phone.
"Your phone is right next to you." Luke said as he rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, but I have a pickle in this hand and a lip gloss in this one. Now change the song." Emma said before Luke rolled his eyes.
"Put on some Kesha. Maybe that'll give my ice cream some luck." Farkle said as he ate some ice cream.
"You want some Kesha?" Luke asked as he looked at his sister.
"Who puts ketchup on a pickle?" Emma asked before Luke rolled his eyes.
"Kesha!"
"Oh yeah. Play a Kesha song. Good. Now go." Emma said as she waved him off.
"How am I gonna be her assistant for a month without ripping her head off?" Luke asked as he looked at Farkle.
"Oh! Yeah, baby!" Farkle said as he held the A up.
"You got an A?" Luke asked before Farkle nodded.
"Yeah, I did."
"So now you have K and A?" Luke asked before Farkle nodded.
"Yep. All I need is a E S H and I get a private concert from Kesha." Farkle said.
"You just need esh." Luke said.
"I need esh real bad."
"Luke! Luke!"
"How can I assist you?" Luke asked after he walked over to Emma.
"I love this song. Put it on loop. Hey. Why'd you kill my volume?" Emma asked after Luke turned the volume off.
"You love Kesha?"
"Yeah, so?"
"If I can get Kesha to give you a private concert right here in this house, then can I stop being your assistant?" Luke asked before Emma laughed.
"Sure, but since you can't make that happen, put the song on loop then scurry off." Emma said.
"K."
"K."
"A."
"K."
"A."
"Okay, we're never gonna spell Kesha." Maya said as they poured ice cream into tubs to look for the other letters.
"Why are there so many Ks and As?" Lucas asked.
"I don't know, but we'd be doing great if we were trying to win a private concert from aka aka aka ak." Amzie said before everyone chuckled.
"I guess they gotta make some letters hard to find or everyone could win." Zay said.
"Well, I'm sick of this."
"E! I got an E!" Amzie said as she held the letter up.
"Yeah!"
"Hooray!"
"Let's put it on the thing." Luke said before he and Amzie ran over to the letter holder.
"Yeah!"
"Ice cream on hand." Luke said before he kissed Amzie.
"Sticky."
"Hey, where ya goin?" Lucas asked as Zay walked towards the elevator with a tub of ice cream.
"I don't think we should waste all this ice cream, so I'm gonna take it down to that playground on the corner and give it to some little kids." Zay said.
"I don't know how kids mothers are gonna feel about a strange guy handing out—" Lucas started before Amzie looked at him.
"Let him do it."
"You're a terrible influence." Lucas said as he looked at his sister.
"Just let him do it. Let him do it!" Amzie said as she hit Lucas on the shoulder.
"Good luck." Lucas said as he looked at Zay.
"Okay, people. We find an S and an H and we got us a private Kesha concert." Farkle said before everyone cheered.
"—and my freedom from Emma." Luke said before everyone cheered again.
"K."
"A."
"A."
"K."
"A."
"K."
"K."
"A."
"K."
"K."
"Okay, this is actually causing me pain." Amzie said as she sat on the island.
"All we need is an S and an H. Is that so much to ask?" Luke asked as he looked through the pints.
"I'm out of ice cream."
"Me too."
"Lucas will be back with more soon." Riley said.
"Zay, what happened?" Maya asked after Zay walked in with cuts and bruises all over him.
"I went to the playground. I got off my bike and I yelled hey, kids. Who wants some free ice cream? Then their mothers chased me into an alley and beat me with sticks." Zay said as he sat at the table.
"Sticks?"
"One big mom stepped on my neck." Zay said as Riley gave him a pack of ice.
"You gotta love big moms." Amzie said as she looked through her last ice cream container.
"Hey."
"Where's the ice cream?" Farkle asked after Lucas walked in.
"Yeah. Didn't you get some more?" Luke asked.
"Nope. Check Kesha's last update." Lucas said before everyone got on their phones.
"Congrats to the dude in North Ridge who found all the letters and spelled out Kesha. Thanks for playing. Kesha later." Luke read before Amzie rubbed his back.
"Contest over."
"Great. I spent nine hours of my life violating pints of ice cream for nothing." Maya said as she put her spoon down.
"Well, I got stick beat by vicious mothers." Zay said.
"I hate everything."
"Don't be sad."
"I am sad!—because I don't play for the Lakers and I don't live with Kobe Bryant and now we can't win the Kesha concert, which means that I gotta keep being Emma's stupid assistant for twenty eight more days!" Luke said.
"At least you're cute. Come on. It's okay. Maybe Emma will just forget about it." Amzie said as she hugged him.
"She made you go all the way to Albany for coffee?" Maya asked as she got her books out of her locker.
"Yeah, and she wouldn't let me get myself one." Luke said with a sigh as Amzie pulled another coffee out of her locker.
"I got you one. Here you go." Amzie said before Luke took a sip of it.
"Ooh."
"Guys, come see this!" Farkle said before Luke, Maya, and Amzie walked over.
"What?"
"Play it again!"
"So it turns out the dude from North Ridge who said he won the Lichterz Ice Cream contest?—he faked it. Yeah. Guy's a loser. Anyways, contest back on! Kesha out." Kesha said before the video ended.
"I can still win the contest!" Luke said as he looked at his friends.
"Go!"
"K."
"A."
"A."
"A."
"H."
"K."
"Wait, wait, wait, wait! Lee, what did you say?" Luke asked as he looked at the brunette.
"When?"
"Just a second ago!"
"I said when." Riley said before Luke sighed.
"No, before that!"
"I said H. I feel so loved!" Riley smiled after everyone ran to her.
"Here it is. Here it is!" Luke said before he put the H on the holder.
"Yes."
"Keee ha!"
"Keee ha!"
"Okay, okay, okay. Must find the S before somebody else does!" Luke said.
"Yeah. Let's go."
"Yeah."
"A."
"A."
"K."
"K."
"A."
"E."
"A."
"H."
"K."
"Hey, Luke. Luke." Zay said after he walked over to the Ross boy, who was frantically looking through ice cream.
"What, what, what, what, what? I gotta find the S!" Luke said as he looked at Zay.
"Why don't you take a little break?" Zay suggested.
"No. No! I gotta find the S. I don't wanna be Emma's assistant anymore. I just need the S to spell Kesha. Where is the S?" Luke asked before Zay patted him on the head.
"I don't know, baby. I just don't know." Zay said.
"Hey, you guys."
"Sup?"
"The letter that we found the most of is K, right?" Lucas asked before everyone nodded.
"Yeah."
"What ice cream flavors have we searched the most?" Lucas asked before Amzie looked at the paper.
"Beach Bunny Blitz, Pooberry Pecan, and Creamy Cowboy Crunch."
"According to the Lichterz website, those are their three most popular flavors." Lucas said.
"So if they put the easiest to find letters in the most popular flavors of ice cream—" Amzie started.
"—then they probably put the hardest to find letters—" Zay started before Luke hit him on the shoulder.
"—the S!"
"—the S—in their least popular flavor." Zay said as everyone nodded.
"What's the least popular flavor of Lichterz Ice Cream?" Luke asked.
"I don't like being hollered at." Lucas said before Amzie and Zay stopped Luke from lunging at him.
"Chill, chill, chill."
"Babe, baby, babe."
"Just tap your pad and tell us the least popular flavor." Zay said as he looked at Lucas.
"Alright. It's Funky Nut Blast."
"I've never even heard of that." Zay said.
"Me neither."
"Well, it has to exist somewhere." Amzie said.
"It does. It's my brother's favorite." Riley said before everyone looked at her.
"Where can we find the Funky Nut Blast?" Luke asked.
"We get it at the Handy Quick in SoHo." Riley said before Luke looked at Amzie.
"Drive me there."
"Let's go."
"I'm going." Maya said as walked towards the elevator.
"Me too."
"Can I come?" Riley asked.
"I don't care. Come on." Luke said before they left.
"Go! Go!"
"Funky Nut Blast." Luke said after he grabbed the ice cream out of the freezer.
"Yes!"
"Go pay for it." Maya said as she looked at Riley.
"Is it S?" Zay asked after Luke dumped the ice cream on the floor.
"No. It's just dumb H." Luke said.
"Well, maybe there's another pint." Maya suggested before Amzie looked in the freezer.
"No. There's not. That's the only Funky Nut Blast." Amzie said before Luke fell on the floor.
"Luke?"
"Baby? Hey. Sweetheart, we're in public." Amzie said as she patted him on the head.
"That boy over there is eating Funky Nut Blast." Riley said as she looked at Trevor.
"Get him!"
"Hi."
"Hello."
"Whatcha eatin there?" Luke asked after he and the girls ran over to Trevor.
"Funky Nut Blast."
"Oh! Can we have it?" Luke asked.
"We'll give you thirty bucks for it." Amzie said as Luke nodded.
"Deal."
"Yay! Now we can win the contest and meet Kesha!" Riley said before her friends looked at her.
"No!"
"Shut your mouth!" Amzie said as she pointed at Riley.
"Whaty?"
"This whatcha want?" Trevor asked as he held up the S.
"Yeah!"
"I'll give it to you. If—!" Trevor started before the group rolled their eyes.
"What do you want?"
"—to come to the private concert." Trevor said before the four looked at each other.
"Fine. Okay."
"—and I wanna kiss you." Trevor said as he pointed at Maya.
"What?"
"—and the spacey one." Trevor said as he pointed at Riley.
"What?"
"—and—"
"You better stop there." Luke said as he got in front of Amzie.
"Dude."
"What?"
"You and those two chicks owe me some lips." Trevor said after he walked over to Maya, Riley, and Amzie.
"Okay, but let's go someplace more private." Amzie said after she shared a look with her best friends.
"Good call."
"Come with me."
"Yes, ma'am."
"Now I'll just open this door." Amzie said before Trevor went to the terrace.
"Cool. Hey!"
"Kiss the shrub." Amzie said before she and the girls walked away.
