"Oh my God. I'm so glad we got that over with." Amzie said before she threw her books in the trash.
"Did you just throw your books away?" Smackle asked as she looked at the blonde.
"I'm not gonna use them again. So what are our big summer plans?" Amzie asked as she looked at everyone.
"Do they have to be big?" Farkle asked.
"Yeah. Lanie Hopkins is going to Greece this week! So what are we doing?" Amzie asked.
"Going to the beach?" Riley suggested.
"Great. The only Greece I'm gonna get is with John Travolta and Olivia Newton John." Amzie said with a sigh.
"We can go camping." Lucas said.
"Do I need a sleeping bag?" Amzie asked.
"Yeah."
"I don't sleep in bags." Amzie said.
"Hey, what about the beach? We can borrow my dad's RV trailer for the day." Zay said.
"Cool."
"Let's do it."
"I'm so hot."
"What's the temperature now?" Maya asked.
"One hundred three."
"Man, I hate sweating." Farkle said as he fanned himself.
"I know. My arms feel like warm, wet ham." Maya said.
"Hi. I'm really hot, but I'm still in a good mood." Riley said as she walked into the bakery.
"What?"
"You're not sweating." Emma said as she looked at Amzie.
"Having fun there?" Amzie asked as Emma felt her forehead and arm.
"How can you not be sweating?" Emma asked.
"I don't sweat." Amzie said.
"Everyone sweats." Emma said.
"Not Amzie."
"Amzie never sweats." Farkle said.
"What do mean she never sweats?" Emma asked as she looked at him.
"Sweating is gross, so I don't do it." Amzie said.
"What's up amigos, amigirls? Ready to go to the beach?" Zay asked after he walked in.
"Yeah!"
"Let's go!"
"How long is this heat wave gonna last?" Luke asked as they loaded up the back of Zay's truck.
"They say til Tuesday." Lucas said.
"Why would they say that?" Riley asked.
"Gotta pee. Gotta pee!" Emma said as she ran out of the trailer after Zay opened the door.
"Hurry back!"
"Kay kay!"
"She has the bladder of a squirrel." Amzie said as Zay walked in.
"Who's ready for beach fun?" Zay asked.
"Zay, this RV is so cool." Riley said.
"Thanks!"
"How come all these windows are tinted so dark?" Smackle asked.
"Because my dad bought it from a rapper. All the windows are made of bulletproof glass." Zay said.
"What rapper?"
"Fat Biscuit."
"The Fat Biscuit?"
"I heard he's thin now." Farkle said.
"Yeah, he had that stomach surgery." Maya said.
"Aw, good for Fat Biscuit."
"Hey, Z. Does it worry you that you never sweat?" Riley asked.
"No."
"—but what if one day, all your sweat builds up inside and you just explode?" Riley asked.
"I would love that." Amzie said.
"Alright, it's starting to get hot in here." Luke said as he fanned himself.
"Yeah, let's go."
"Let us hit that beach!"
"This way, people." Zay said before he tried to open the door.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't know. The door won't open." Zay said before he pushed on the door.
"Come on. Just open it." Amzie said.
"Something's blocking the door." Zay said.
"Oh man! Some idiot parked a huge RV right next to us." Lucas said after he looked out the window.
"Whatever. Let's just go out the back door." Amzie said.
"There is no back door." Zay said.
"Well, that's stupid."
"I'm getting very hot now." Luke said.
"Will somebody open a window?" Riley asked.
"If the windows are bulletproof, they don't open." Amzie said.
"Aw, thanks a lot, Fat Biscuit. I meant the rapper from whom Zay's daddy purchased this vehicle!" Ravi said after everyone looked at him.
"I'm getting hotter."
"Just push on the door." Smackle said.
"I can't push a seven thousand pound RV out of the way." Zay said as he looked at her.
"Have Luke and Lucas do it." Amzie said.
"That doesn't make any sense."
"Alright! Let's not bug out." Lucas said before his sister looked at him.
"Dude, nobody knows we're trapped in this toaster oven." Amzie said.
"Emma just went to the bathroom. She's gonna be back in a few minutes. Then she can start Zay's truck and then pull us forward so we can get out." Lucas said.
"Good point."
"Hi."
"Sup?"
"What's that song you're playing?" Emma asked after she walked by a group of boys.
"I'm not sure."
"Well, it's really cool." Emma said.
"Do you wanna hang out with us?" Paul asked.
"I can't. I have to get back to my friends." Emma said.
"Come on. Just hang with us for a few minutes." Jake said.
"Okay."
"Where's Emma? She's been gone for twenty minutes." Amzie said.
"The girl only weighs ninety pounds. How much pee can she hold?" Zay asked.
"That's it. I'm calling her." Riley said as she grabbed her phone.
"I already tried. No signal." Maya said.
"I told y'all not to get F Mobile." Zay said as he looked at Maya.
"Well, where's your phone?" Lucas asked.
"I left it in my pants and my grandma washed it." Zay said as he looked down.
"Well, can we at least turn on the air conditioning?" Farkle asked.
"The AC doesn't work unless the truck is running." Zay said.
"Then go start the truck." Maya said.
"I can't get out." Zay said.
"I'm feeling very hot now!" Luke said.
"It is one hundred and two degrees in here." Ravi said after he looked at the thermostat on the wall.
"I need a cold drink." Amzie said.
"Me too."
"Where are they?" Amzie asked as she looked at Zay.
"In the truck."
"What are we gonna do?" Luke asked.
"Emma!"
"Emma!"
"Gonna get you."
"She's right behind you." Zack said as they sprayed each other with water shooters.
"It's so cold! It's so cold!" Emma said.
"It's so hot!"
"I cannot believe Emma is not back yet." Ravi said.
"How hot is it in here now?" Luke asked.
"One hundred and seven degrees."
"There's parts of me sweating that I didn't know could sweat." Zay said.
"Oh my gosh. I forgot." Riley said as she sat up.
"What?"
"I brought a fan; a battery powered fan." Riley said as she looked through her bag.
"Get out."
"Here it is." Riley said as she held up a small fan.
"That's your fan?"
"Yeah."
"It's not big."
"You teased us."
"Okay. Okay, fine. Then I guess I just won't turn it on." Riley said as she looked at everyone.
"No, no. Turn it on."
"Now you like my tiny fan, don't you?" Riley asked before she set it up.
"At least it oscillates." Maya said.
"Where could Emma be?" Amzie asked.
"I hope she's okay." Luke said.
"Hey. Shaved ice."
"Yay. I love shaved ice." Emma said as they walked over to the cart.
"We'll take five please." Jake said.
"Sure. Flavors?"
"What flavor do you like?" Jake asked as he looked at Emma.
"You pick for me." Emma said.
"Cherry for the lady." Jake said as he looked at the vendor.
"Yay. That's my fave." Emma smiled.
"One cherry."
"Thank you."
"I'll take lime."
"Grape."
"Orange."
"Brain freeze."
"It's slowing down." Smackle said before the fan stopped.
"No!"
"Come on, fan! Work! Work! Spin!" Ravi said as he grabbed the fan.
"Ravi, Ravi, stop. Rav, stop it." Luke said.
"No, I need it. I need it." Ravi said.
"The batteries are dead." Amzie said.
"Oscillate! Spin!"
"It's over."
"I'm extremely hot now." Luke said.
"We gotta get out of this stupid RV. Yeah, offense." Smackle said after Zay looked at her.
"We at least have to find something to drink." Lucas said.
"Your fish tank." Maya said as she looked at the tank.
"Oh yeah! I forgot about the fish tank." Zay said as he got up.
"Wait. We're gonna drink fish water?" Farkle asked.
"Beats dying of thirst." Zay shrugged.
"When was the last time you cleaned it?" Maya asked.
"You're supposed to clean it?" Zay asked as he looked at her.
"Come on!"
"We can't drink dirty fish water." Smackle said.
"Well, if we don't drink something, we're all gonna be just—wait. Lucas, what are you doing?" Amzie asked as she looked at her twin.
"What do you mean?" Lucas asked as he looked at her.
"Why was your head in your bag?" Amzie asked.
"It's cool in there." Lucas said as he gestured to it.
"I heard you swallow. Give me the bag." Amzie said before she and Lucas started wrestling.
"No!"
"Give me the bag!"
"No! No! You can't have it. No! No! You can't have it!" Lucas said before Amzie took it from him.
"Water! He has water!" Amzie said as she held up the almost empty water bottle.
"Give it back!"
"You had water this entire time and didn't share with the rest of us?" Maya asked.
"There's only like one swallow left." Luke said.
"I want it."
"No. We'll share it." Amzie said as she looked at everyone.
"There's barely enough to fill up the cap, babe." Luke said.
"Then we'll share one capful." Amzie said.
"Okay, we'll share it." Lucas said.
"You get nothing." Amzie said as she looked at him.
"Alright. No sipping. Everyone gets one tongue dip. Here." Amzie said as she handed the cap to Zay.
"No!"
"It's empty." Maya sighed after Ravi drank all the water.
"I am sorry. I could not help myself!" Ravi said before he started crying.
"Something's dripping on me. Something's dripping on me." Amzie said after she laid on the couch.
"Nothing's dripping." Luke said.
"Yes, look on my arm. See?—and on my forehead. What's going on? What's happening?" Amzie asked as she felt her forehead and arm.
"You're sweating."
"No. No, I'm not. I don't sweat. I'm not sweating." Amzie said as she shook her head.
"Look at me."

"You're sweating."
"We gotta get out of here." Amzie said after she fell on the floor.
"Thank you, Captain Obvious. Ow!" Lucas said after Amzie threw her shoe at him.
"You spun a beautiful pot." Jake said.
"You helped me spin it." Emma said.
"Later, we'll glaze it." Jake said.
"Thank you, but I really should be getting back to my friends." Emma said.
"You can't leave now. Paul just made tuna tartar." Jake said.
"We caught the tuna this morning." Paul said.
"You gotta stay for the tuna tartare." Oliver said.
"Have some tuna."
"Okay."
"Okay. It's official: I have achieved maximum hottitude." Luke said.
"I've never been this thirsty." Maya said.
"For the first time in my life, my tongue is not moist." Ravi said.
"What do we do?" Lucas asked.
"I don't know. Die?" Amzie asked as she looked at the ceiling.
"You got any ideas that don't end in dying?" Zay asked.
"No."
"Hi, everyone!" Emma smiled after she opened the door.
"Emma!"
"Em!"
"You guys really missed me. Z, you're all sweaty." Emma said after everyone hugged her.
"Never speak of it!"
"What happened?" Emma asked as she looked at everyone.
"We were trapped in there." Riley said as the boys tossed waters to everyone.
"—for hours."
"Hope you had a nice pee." Maya said as she looked at the Ross girl.
"—trapped? Why didn't you guys just open the door?" Emma asked as she looked at her brother.
"Because there's a gigantic RV parked right—!" Luke started before they realized the RV was gone.
"I guess they left and we didn't even know." Farkle said.
"Who cares? It's over."
"Come on, guys. It's only 4:30 and there's a large Atlantic Ocean right over there." Amzie said before everyone cheered.
"Let's enjoy that ocean."
