Rin POV
I did it! I managed to escape!
The wind gushed through my face, blowing my waist-length hair behind.
Even though I had been flying for quite some time now, this is the first time for me to speed up like this. My flaring aura left a trail that looked like those white streaks planes left behind.
Although it's kinda uncomfortable to fly with your arm still cuffed together, I had to move on.
The fact that the Phantom Troupe might kill my parents really bothers me but I need to get my ducks in a row. What's important right now, is for me to regroup with Gon and Killua before the 24-hour time limit is over. If not, I would probably share the same fate as my parents.
Just thinking about Killua's words sent chills down my spine that I know had nothing to do with the breeze brushing my floating body.
'Will he stay true to his word?' I wondered.
But the real question was... do I know which direction to take?
I don't even know where I had escaped from!

Third person POV
The black-haired girl accelerated through the darkening sky oblivious to the eyes that had been detecting the wavelength that her aura is giving out.
Pairs of crimson eyes glowed in the dark as they focused on the flying girl that passed through.
"TARGET; LOCK ON."
Rin kept on observing the city below her, trying to remember the places that might have been familiar when suddenly a blast hit her from the side, propelling her to the ground like a meteor falling to the earth.
CRASH!!!
Rin crashed to the ground from a hundred miles from the sky leaving the ground caving in countless rubbles and smoke of dust.
Rin winced in pain as she tried to get up from the ground but the bleeding wound prevented her from doing so.
"W-what the-- What the hell was that?" She tried to look around with strands of her hair covering her bruised face.
Her onyx eyes traced her surrounding that was covered by piles of dust clouds until it widened.
"...!"
In amidst of the disappearing smoke screen, Rin could see that she was surrounded by what she had not expected.
They were people-- No, they just looked like humans but clearly, they're not. The metallic skin that reflected the moonlight and the piercing red eyes that held no emotion what-so-ever was enough to prove they're not human.
It's just like a nightmare coming to life and that caused blood to drain down from her face.
'I-I'ts an android...?'
Rin thought and her head jolted to the side as she heard another sound coming from her side.
'And it's not only one.'
Rin furrowed her eyebrows clenching her fist only to realize that her wrists are still cuffed.
'Damn it!'
Her attention was cut off as the of the metal-like human spoke.
"TARGET LOCATED; EXECUTION MODE; ACTIVATED."
"...!" Rin eyes widened as all of the androids surrounding her aimed their right hand towards her.
"Shit." Rin cursed underneath her breath as multiple blasts coming from the palm of their hands were advancing towards her.
Before the blasts could even hit her, Rin did a backflipped through the air. Just when she was about to land, she kicked two of the androids heads sending them flying.
It seemed like the androids didn't like to be kept waiting as they kept coming one after another. Rin barely managed to dodge their attacks even with her arms cuffed.
Rin leaped through the air and landed a few feet from the rampaging androids. Her only thoughts were to break free from the handcuffs restraining her hand but no matter how hard she tried to break them, it was pointless. That's when she realized that the handcuffed were covered by Nen.
"Damn it!"
Before Rin could do anything, the androids dashed towards her. All she could do was to fight using her legs alone. It was hard and she's growing tired by the second. Their attacks were endless and Rin knew it better than to let her guard down even a second.
THUMP!
She was thrown across the ground crashing a tall tree behind her with a loud thump.
Rin dropped to the ground while panting hard. She's exhausted and she knew it. Turning into a Super Saiyan out of anger earlier did drain a lot of energy and her escape from the hideout didn't make it any better.
It's a clear dead end.
Their heavy footsteps kept on approaching and all she could do was lying beneath the tree.
"...!"
Rin eyes widened in realization.
A tree...?
She looked around to examine her surroundings only to find herself in a forest. Using her heightened sense, she could tell that she was far away from the civilian.
Step. Step. Step.
Rin returned her attention towards her invader and smirked. Looking at the androids in front of her, Rin raised up from the ground while clutching her injured abdomen.
"You know what, I'm already in a bad mood as it is. Would it be alright for me to vent it out on you guys?" Her fiery black eyes glared at the androids that started to rush towards her.
A mischievous smirk escaped her lips as she screamed at the top of her lung again.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Her once black hair flashed gold and the blazing golden flame-like aura engulf her strengthened body. The wavelength of her Nen sent the androids flying backward along with the fallen leaves around her.
Turning into a Super Saiyan made it easy for Rin to crushed the shackles restraining her hands. Now, with her arms free, she stretched out her arms and leg and did a simple warm up before turning her attention towards the androids. Her cerulean blue eyes glared down at her enemies.
"Bring it on you losers." Rin cracked her knuckles with a playful smirk.
One of the androids regained its composure and began to attack her. Before the android could land an attack on her, Rin grabbed it by the head and smash it to the ground crushing its head and the ground in the process.
Sparks of electricity could be seen within the damaged metal head and soon the red light in its eyes began to die down.
"As I thought, crushing its head is the only way to get rid of em." Rin kicked the broken head aside and looked at the remaining androids.
"Don't worry, I'll try my best to make your deaths less painful. But then again, I don't think a machine has any feeling... All the more reason for me to let loose."
With that, Rin went on a rampage by destroying the androids around her.
She kicked. She punched. She smashed. She blasted. She blocked. And the cycle continued.
But something was definitely off. No matter how many times she destroyed the androids' head, no matter how many kamehameha wave she blasted, there are more of them coming and it only pissed her off even more.
'Strength against numbers, huh?'
This will definitely tire her out but even so, she needed to keep fighting.
Even in her Super Saiyan form, she knew it wouldn't last any longer. She was worn out in the first place and it will only take a matter of time for her to revert to her original form.
The trees around her were already crushed into pieces leaving the once green scenery into a dusty brown clearing.
Rin panted hard. She couldn't keep up with the numbers. While there were already plenty of androids she hadn't beat up yet, there are still more of them coming.
'Just where does all of this androids coming from?!'
Rin eyes grew wider as one of the androids laid a powerful punch on her stomach sending her flying across the clearings.
THUD!!
Rin landed on the ground with a loud thud and clutched her aching abdomen in pain. Before she could even regain her strength to fight, another came and stomped on her head earning a loud shriek from the weakened girl.
The moment Rin stopped screaming, her original black hair returned leaving her half unconscious on the ground.
Although the world seemed a bit hazy and her eyelids were too heavy for her to keep them open, Rin could sense that the androids were closing in on her. She knew she had to stand, but right now, lifting a finger seemed like the most difficult thing to do.
One of the androids gained closer to the beaten up girl. Its eyes trailed along her unconscious body and it spoke.
"TARGET SECURED; INITIATE ELIMINATION PROCESS."
Rin could only let out a weak sighed as black spots slowly covering her view.
She thought everything was over for her but then everything seemed too silent. It's so quiet that it gives out an eerie feeling.
Rin trailed her eyes to watch the android standing in front of her only to find that it's standing still, not doing anything as if a circuit had been cut.
And turns out she was right.
THUD!
The android fell to the ground with a loud thud along with a couple more behind it.
Confusion filled her head but it all seemed to clear as she saw a someone in a black cloak.
'W-Who--'
Before she could even think, the newcomer crouched down having a look at her injured body.
"As I expected. They've come for you."
The voice sounded familiar but with Rin's state right now, she couldn't even pinpoint whose voice it belonged to but what she could guess was that it belonged to a man.
The man examined his surroundings and looked back at the semi-conscious girl.
"Using Nen would be troublesome."
Suddenly, an android dashed towards the man only to have its head decapitated.
Looking at Rin, he said.
"You're still conscious, right?"
Rin could only blink in response.
"Then..."
Removing the cloak around him, he draped it over Rin's small figure covering her entire body.
That is when everything turned black.
