"Look what's happening. Look what's coming." Riley said with a smile.
"What's coming, crazy?" Maya asked as she looked at her best friend.
"—invitations to seventh grade parties. It's begun. We could be party girls. I'm gonna need a party girl walk." Riley said before she did a weird walk.
"Yeah, that's not it." Amzie said as Maya nodded.
"There's gonna be boys at these parties, but not just any boys. No. Opposite sex boys. They're the best kind." Riley said before Amzie and Maya nodded.
"Yeah, you sound ready for this." Amzie said with a chuckle.
"I am. I may just be the first girl who crosses over from our side of the room to the—" Riley started before she realized something.
"Yeah, it's gonna be us." Maya and Amzie chorused with nods.
"Yeah, it's gonna be you. You know what Pretty Boy Hipster's handing out invitations to, don't you?" Riley asked before the blondes nodded.

"—membership cards to the popular club." Riley said.
"Why can't you just let it be a party?" Maya asked with a sigh.
"—because this is it. Right here. This is where you two go one way and I go the other. You get the invites and one of you will marry Pretty Boy Hipster and I end up marrying Anthony Delveccio and we buy things in bulk. You're gonna be popular. I'm not. Good for you. Good girls. Bye bye, Maya. Bye bye, Amzie. Yay! For me. Guys, I know you didn't get one, but is it okay if I'm really happy?" Riley asked after a boy handed her an invitation.
"You go get them, tiger." Maya said before Riley smiled and skipped to class.
"We love you, but you're a lot of work." Amzie sighed before she and Maya walked into class.
"Boom!"
"You got invited to something?" Cory asked after Riley slammed the invitation on his desk.
"So much for genetics, baby." Riley smiled.
"Ooh, seventh grade party. Yep. Didn't get invited to a whole lot of these. Good for you. I'm proud of you. Boy girl party?" Cory asked before Riley nodded.
"Yep."
"You can't go." Cory and Riley said together.
"May I approach?" Amzie asked before the two looked at her.
"Hurry please."
"I'm gonna keep your youngin out of trouble, sir." Amzie said after she and Riley put their arms on each other's shoulders.
"Hunter, you are trouble. Why would I want my youngin anywhere near the same party you're gonna be at?" Cory asked before Amzie smirked.
"You wouldn't. Say it. You know you wanna say it." Amzie said with a smirk as she crossed her arms.
"You can't go if Amzie's invited." Cory said as he looked at Riley.
"Amzie's not invited." Riley said before Amzie smirked and looked at her best friend.
"Then you may go."
"Thanks, Daddy." Riley said with a smile.
"Alright, good day, everybody. Class dismissed." Amzie said before everyone stood up.
"Sit down!" Cory said before everyone sat in their seats.
"Sit down!" The girls copied before they sat down.
"There's this guy Damocles, who really really wants to be king. One day, he gets an invitation to come sit on the throne and actually hang with royalty." Cory said.
"No!"
"Sup, Riles? Pop's lesson hitting a little close to home?" Maya asked as she looked at the brunette.
"Nope. What he's saying has nothing to do with me. Yes, I've been invited to hang with middle school royalty, but nothing bad could happen." Riley said with a smile.
"I'm sure you're right. Farkle!"
"When Damocles sat on the throne, he noticed a sword hanging over it held up by a single tiny thread." Farkle explained.
"Maya."
"Be careful what you wish for." Maya said with a small shrug.
"Why?"
"Being what other people want you to be is just a sword hanging over your head." Maya said.
"Good. Riley."
"Nothing to do with me." Riley said with a smile.
"Well, looky here, teacher daddy. Nothing hanging over my head except this here halo of popularity. Yay for you, my best friend, for watching me with a smile." Riley said as she looked at Amzie.
"Yeah, I'm smiling. I'm watching." Amzie said with a fake smile.
"Alright, alright. Half hour you can stay. I'm waiting right here. I changed my mind. I want you in there. Protect your friend." Cory said after he turned to Amzie.
"I can't do that, sir. Wasn't invited." Amzie said.
"Why is that exactly?" Cory asked before Amzie smirked.
"About to find out, sir. Smile. Watch." Amzie said as she gestured to the door.
"Greetings, fellow partygoer." Farkle said after he opened the door.
"Farkle?"
"Starting to become clear, sir?" Amzie asked with a chuckle.
"Oh yeah. I'm smiling real big." Cory smiled.
"Announcing the arrival of party guest number six, female number one." Farkle said.
"I'm a female, Farkle."
"You getting this yet?" Amzie asked before Cory nodded.
"—but Pretty Boy's still here." Riley said as she looked at Amzie.
"Wait for it." Amzie chuckled before Pretty Boy turned into two boys.
"That's the greatest thing I've ever seen in my life!" Cory laughed.
"It's a geek party!" Riley said after she turned to face Cory and Amzie.
"I know, honey." Amzie laughed with a nod.
"Everybody welcome Riley."
"Honey, stay an hour. Stay a week. Stay forever. Just enjoy. Hey, you know what would make this just perfect for me?" Cory asked as he looked at Amzie.
"Have you noticed the lightsabers hanging from the ceiling precariously over your head?" Farkle asked before one almost hit Riley.
"Damocles."
"There it is." Cory said before he and Amzie laughed.
"I know."
"Farkle Minkus, where are you? Where's my cousin?" Amzie asked after she and Maya walked into class.
"I'm right here." Farkle said before Amzie rolled her eyes.
"Okay, Farkle. Where is she?" Amzie asked after she grabbed Farkle by the collar.
"Whatever have I done to deserve this display of affection?" Farkle asked.
"That look like affection to you?" Maya asked as she gestured to Amzie.
"I takes it however I gets it."
"She wasn't there when Maya tried to pick us up this morning and we couldn't find her in the halls. What'd you do with our girl?" Amzie asked.
"Amzie, release the Farkle. Farkle didn't do anything except open my eyes to what the world really thinks I am." Riley said after she walked into class dressed in bright colors.
"A harajuku girl?"
"Yes, because I figure if what I am is nerdy geeky, I'm gonna set the nerdy geeky world on fire." Riley said with a smile.
"You take it." Maya said as she looked at Cory.
"Nope. Beyond me. All yours."
"Why should I struggle to be popular when I can be these people's empress fairy queen?" Riley asked.
"The one guy was two guys. The sword fell. This is the way you're gonna go? You're gonna embrace this?" Amzie asked before Riley shrugged.
"Deal with it. I've gone over to the dork side." Riley said with a smile.
"This isn't you."
"This is her." Farkle said before Amzie glared at him.
"They love this me."
"We're not changing you back." Amzie said before she and Maya sat down.
"Yes, you are. My daughter's going through this week's crazy. You get in there." Cory said as he pointed to Riley.
"Father, may we continue with the lesson? I seek knowledge." Riley said before Cory looked at her.
"Never mind. Leave her alone."
"Look at her."
"Alright, what do you guys know about girls?" Cory asked after he went to James and Marlin.
"Mostly we're terrified of them, sir." James said with a nod.
"So we try to keep our distance." Marlin added.
"Then I choose empress fairy nut job." Cory said.
"Come on. This isn't who you are. What do you know about being a harajuku girl?" Maya asked as she looked at Riley.
"I don't have to know anything except that they love it. Sorry, Maya, Amz. I walk with a different crowd now. As you can see, I'm quite the influence on them." Riley said.
"Maya? Amzie?"
"She's gone, sir." Amzie said before the she and Maya left.
"Okay, I'm gonna take one last shot at this while I believe Riley's still in there and not completely under the spell of—" Amzie started before Farkle climbed into the window.
"Ladies!"
"—Farkle!" Amzie said as she tackled him.
"She's one of us now, Amzie." Farkle said after he stood up before getting pulled down.

"The world I know wants you to be yourself. In my world, it needs you in it." Amzie said after she stood up.
"You're one of us now and I decided to prove it by letting you help the John Quincy Adams Spelling Bee Team to the regional finals." Farkle said as he looked at Riley.
"Really?"
"I'm right about you, Riley. I know I am." Farkle said.
"Thank you, Farkle. Sorry, Amzie. The world wants what the world wants and right now, the world wants me like this." Riley said as she gestured to herself.
"This isn't over, Farkle." Amzie said as she glared at him.
"I'm not scared." Farkle said before Amzie crossed her arms.
"Really?" Amzie asked before she tackled him.
"Guys, what about me? Yay!" Riley smiled after they pulled her down.
"How you doing?" Riley and Topanga said as they sat down.

"Yep?"
"We're the normal ones, right?" Auggie asked before Cory and Amzie nodded.
"I hope so, Bubba."
"What is this?" Topanga asked as she looked at Riley.
"What is that?" Riley asked as she looked at her mother.
"This is who I am inside. It's the part of me your father fell in love with a long time ago." Topanga said with a smile.
"This is what's inside of you?" Riley asked before Topanga smiled.
"Yeah, might be the best part. Is this the best part of you?" Topanga asked.
"I'm extremely popular with five people." Riley said with a smile.
"Is one of them you?" Topanga asked with a small smirk.
"Weird Mommy's cool." Auggie said as Amzie and Cory nodded.
"Way cool."
"Welcome to this qualifying round of the city Regional Spelling Bee between our own John Quincy Adams Middle School and Einstein Academy."
"Formidable opponents and Smackle." Farkle said as he looked at her.
"I will destroy you."
"I am energy. You can't destroy energy. Ha! Riley, get up there and show us who you really are." Farkle said as he looked at the brunette.
"Okay, Ms. Matthews. Your first word is—Amzie, you can't—" Cory started after Amzie gave him a different card.
"Check out the word, Matthews."
"Z, what are you doing?" Maya asked as she looked at the Hunter girl.
"Hey, Farkle's not the only one with a master plan." Amzie smirked at her best friend before facing the front.
"Ms. Matthews, your word is harajuku." Cory said.
"Excuse me?"
"Harajuku."
"May I have the meaning of the word?" Riley asked.
"You don't know? Then let me tell you. It's a real neighborhood in Japan where authentic Japanese girls have created an authentic look and life for themselves that is unique to them." Cory explained.
"Country of origin?" Riley asked before Maya and Amzie rolled their eyes.
"Are you kidding me?"
"Can I hear it in a sentence?" Riley asked.
"Yeah. Stop pretending to be a harajuku girl because you're not." Amzie said.
"You're Riley. R i l e y."
"Five seconds, Ms. Matthews, or you're eliminated." Cory said.
"What do you mean eliminated?" Riley asked as she looked at her father.
"It means you wouldn't be part of the group anymore." Farkle said as Riley looked at him.
"Harajuku: something I'm n o t. Sorry, Farkle. It was a lovely party and your friends are really pretty cool." Riley said after she took the fake glasses off.
"We are?"
"We've never been called that before." James said.
"Thanks, Riley. We feel the same way about you." Farkle said.
"Well, I guess we're back to where popular is gonna be kind of hard, huh?" Riley asked as she looked at the blondes.
"I wouldn't know."
"Let's not try so hard to find out." Maya said before the three left.
"You miss her?" Maya asked before Topanga looked up.
"Who?"
"The other Topanga." Amzie said.
"No. I've always known where she is. You know what the best thing is about being yourself?" Topanga asked.
"What?"
"You're always popular with your best friends." Topanga said with a smile before she walked away.
