Niall and Harry had been at the studio for a majority of the day working on the 4th album that would be coming out toward the end of the year. They were exhausted but Harry had planned a date night and him and Niall needed a night out to themselves. So when they got home they immediately went to change and get ready for their reservations.
"I'm gonna go downstairs, you finish getting ready and meet me down in 5" Harry said placing a kiss on Niall's sweet lips as he mumbled an okay into Harry's lips before leaving the room with one last look in the mirror
Once Harry had left the room Niall winced rubbing his temples with his thumb and middle finger feeling a pain shoot through his head. He had started feeling a headache come on about an hour before they left the studio and now it only seemed to be worse.
"Fuck.. Not tonight please.." Niall whimpered to himself as he made his way into his and Harry's en suite to grab some pain pills
Gulping them down with some water Niall looked at himself in the large mirror noticing a thin layer of sweat that covered his forehead. Quickly wiping it away he sighed hoping he would be okay for dinner tonight and wouldn't be sick or anything.
"Niall let's go!" Niall heard Harry yell from the bottom of the stairs
"Comin'" Niall replied back grabbing his wallet off the bedside table walking out of the room making his way down the spiral staircase seeing Harry wait for him in the kitchen
As he walked in Harry turned to him,"you ready?" He asked eyeing Niall noticing he looked a little pale but deciding to not say anything as he was probably just seeing things
"Yeah" Niall breathed grabbing ahold of Harry's hand making their way outside to the car in the cool summer air
Once sitting down In the drivers seat Harry turned to Niall leaning over the console to pepper a kiss onto his lips which Niall gladly kissed back to,"I'm happy to be with you tonight" Harry mumbled before pecking one last kiss pulling out of their driveway to make it on time to the reservation which they were already a little late for
Niall felt a pull in his stomach as they drove down the rode a familiar nauseous feeling which he remembered having last time he had the stomach flu. Shit
Niall gulped when he had to swallow down his lunch from earlier that day quietly wrapping his arm around his stomach giving it a slight rub.
Harry looked over smiling at him reaching to rest his hand on Niall's knee caressing the inside of his thigh in the process. He noticed the arm that Niall had wrapped around his stomach taking note of that and the sweat that seemed to collect on his forehead.
"Are you hot babe?" Harry asked reaching for the air conditioner in the car adjusting the cool air to the perfect temperature before aiming the vent toward Niall's head
"No I don't want that" Niall whined pushing the vent away from himself
Harry furrowed his eyebrows turning off the vent,"okay, you just look hot; you're sweating" Harry informed him
"I'm fine" Niall mumbled turning to face the window feeling chills run down his arms. In all honesty he was actually freezing, yet he did feel hot.
Harry ignored Niall for the rest of the ride to the restraunt hoping Niall would forget the little sass moment in the car.

As they pulled up Harry signaled for Niall to stay in the car and he quickly made his way around the car opening Niall's door like the gentleman he was holding his hand out for Niall to grab.
Niall gave Harry a small smile grabbing his hand slipping out of the car wincing placing a hand on his stomach.
"You alright babe?" Harry asked looking into Niall's eyes looking for any sort of pain
Niall nodded swallowing deeply before Harry and him made their way in,"Styles" Harry told the lady as she checked her sheet nodding before telling both males to follow her to the table they had set up for them.
"Is here alright?" She asked smiling holding the menus
"Yes, thank you" Harry flashed her his signature smile pulling out Niall's chair for him allowing him to sit down with his hand going strait to his stomach under the table as Harry sat across from him picking up the menu
As they looked over the menus nothing sounded good to Niall. He was just trying to make I through the night without throwing up all over the nice carpet that was under his feet. He didn't know how much he could take with all the smells drifting in and out his nose.
"Do you know what you want?" Harry asked placing his menu down so he could look at Niall across the table
Niall looked to Harry shrugging his shoulders,"I don't know, maybe a salad" he murmured looking over their salad choices
Harry looked at Niall confused,"that's all?" He asked knowing Niall was normally one to eat everything off the menu. Well that was unless he was ill....
"Not that hungry" Niall replied barely audible putting his menu down one elbow on the table his chin rested on it his other hand under the bottom of his shirt trying to ease the nausea
Harry just nodded going with it hoping Niall would tell him if he wasn't feeling well. Just as Harry was thinking about what could be wrong with Niall their waitress came over checking if they were ready which Harry replied with a yes as she took both their orders before walking away with a smile.
As they waited for their food Harry and Niall made small talk about the album and the concerts that were coming up also talking about things in their personal life.
Just about 20 minutes had passed when their food came out being placed in front of them Harry's heavily smelling steak making him want to throw up right then and there.
Niall placed the back of his hand to his mouth holding back a gag. The feeling of nausea passed after a second and he moved his hand from his mouth.
Harry had dug right in while Niall just picked at his food never really putting anything into his mouth as he feared just a simple tomato would make him lose his lunch.
Half way through chewing a piece of meat Harry looked up noticing Niall's pale face and he wasn't eating anything,"Ni? Are you okay?" He asked putting his fork down wiping his mouth with the cloth napkin that was on his lap
Niall looked up from his food letting a tear slip from his eyes.
"Oh no..." Harry sighed,"baby what's the matter?" He asked reaching across the table for Niall's hand caressing his knuckles with his thumb
Niall placed his hand back onto his mouth,"I don't feel good.." He whimpered closing his eyes fighting the urge to be sick
Harry nodded standing up from the table allowing Niall to stand up after him leading him to the bathroom as Niall held his hand still to his mouth earning strange looks from on looking pedestrians.
Harry burst through the door glad no one else was in their Niall gagging into his hand vomit already seeping past his fingers and onto the floor before Harry got him to the toilet. Immediately Niall's knees hit the floor sick spilling out his mouth in a rush.
Harry winced grabbing some toilet paper while his hand moved it's way up and down Niall's back which seemed to be sweating buckets,"you're alright, breath, you're doing good baby" Harry shushed sending nursing words into Niall's ear while he grabbed Niall's hand wiping off the sick that had been in his hand.
Vomit seemed to be never ending as it splashed it's way into the toilet coating the once shiny white toilet in a mush of brown, vile liquid.
Niall was breathing heavily over the toilet when he breathed out,"I'm done" reaching for some toilet paper which Harry handed to him allowing him to clean off his face and lips
"You alright darling?" Harry asked concerned
"I feel sick.." Niall mumbled his elbow resting on the toilet rim his head in his hand
"I'm gonna go pay and then we can leave okay? Do you wanna stay here or come out with me?" Harry asked not wanting Niall to vomit all over the floors embarrassing himself even more
"Come with you" Niall responded as Harry nodded helping him up off the floor flushing the sick filled toilet wiping the rim off so the next person wasn't greeted with vomit all over the toilet
After washing their hands Niall and Harry made their way back to the table paying quickly before leaning Harry's arm around Niall's waist caressing his side making their way outside.
"Here ya go baby" Harry had gotten the door for Niall and was now holding a bag out for him in case he got sick on the way home. Niall accepted the bag holding it in his lap while Harry got in the car after him starting up the car
"Alright I'll get you home" Harry sadly smiled as Niall lied his head against the cool window hoping he wasn't sick on the way home

Luckily they had made it home without an interruptions from a sick Niall.
After getting inside Harry asked,"do you wanna lay down in bed or go lay down on the couch?"
Niall decided he wanted to go lay down on the couch while watching a movie trying to ease the nausea out of his stomach. Harry had layed himself next to him after putting in a movie rubbing his belly like Niall had requested.
"How long were you feeling sick?" Harry asked out of nowhere wondering why Niall hadn't told him he wasn't feeling well. They could have just stayed home instead of going out.
"I had a little headache at work," Harry nodded,"but it got worse once we got home and at the restraunt I just started feeling really ill" Niall told Harry with a sad pout on his face
"Tell me next time babe, we don't have to go out if you're feeling poorly" Harry said placing a kiss to Niall's forehead as Niall layed against him letting his eyes slip shut from drowsiness
"Goodnight baby" Harry whispered as he noticed Niall had fallen asleep against his chest small snores escaping his parted lips
With one last kiss to Niall's forehead Harry fell asleep with Niall wrapped in his arms knowing Niall was safe with him. Harry would always take cafe of him, forever and always :)
