A Week and A Half Later
I'm finally able to call Rodri boyfriend yay!!! The day he asked me out was so unexpected like I wasn't even thinking of that at the time. The necklace he gave me was so cute, all he did for me just melted my heart.
The past week we've been spending a lot of time together, as if we were married, I found a way to let Kamoni and Kahari stay with their father in our house for a few weeks only because I wanted to spend time with my boyfriend.
He's currently about to take me out for lunch. That boy cant cook for shit, so he usually eats out when Brites not around plus Nayvadius isn't around either so we kinda get to leave whenever we want
"Boyfriend" I called our
"Yes, I'm coming" I've agitated him so much today, it ain't even funny.
"Yes my baby" He walked in.
"What's taking you so long?" I giggled getting up off his bed grabbing all my stuff
"I was looking for my shoes but I gottem, let's go" I took the lead and when into his car, took him about ten minutes to finally get into the car but that's alright.
"You look tired girlfriend, is you tired baby?"
"I'm hungry, that's what you wasting a whole lotta' time" I rolled my eyes. I really was starving.
"My bad love, just had to handle some things with a club promoter"
"You have appearances at the club? When is this?"
"Tonight, tommorow, Thursday and Sunday" So basically the whole entire week.
"That's the whole week, you know that right?" He looked at me and giggled
"Don't laugh boyfriend" I whined
"I just love the way you gonna miss me even though when I leave you gonna be asleep"
"Shut up, and get me my food you blowing mines" I joked

When we got to the restaurant, I spotted a car that I know I shouldn't be around.
It was Angela Watson. I spotted her car because I always watched my driveway to make sure she didn't come to my house. If she sees me things could go downhill
"You Okay?" Deja asked
"Y-y-Yeah" We got out the car and I made sure to hold her hand tight
Walking in, Angela was sitting there with a friend eating, I cannot let her see me what the hell is she doing in a Caribbean restaurant anyways.
"Im diggin' em fish tacos, what about you love?" I asked her
"Same thang as you, except I want a mango cream smoothie with whip cream and no cherry"
"Baby, I'm putting a cherry on there cuz I haven't hit yet" I smirked
"Shush" She blushed hiding her face with her hands
"Next" The stingy ass lady at the counter yelled, like we right hea' ain't no need to yell. And bitch if you don't like yo' job find a new one.
"Can we get eight fish tacos and ah' medium mango and raspberry smoothie with whipped cream a cherry, then a medium mango cream smoothie with whip cream and a cherry"
"That'll be $13.45" I took my wallet out and pulled a twenty out of it
I gave her the money and she gave me my change.
When our food came we found a booth to sit in, I didn't realize it was the one next to Angela. This is bad.
"Que?" Angela asked standing up. Deja snapped her head in Angela's direction
"Who is this?" Deja asked
"Uhm, Angela this is my girlfriend" Deja raised her eyebrows looking at me in disgust, she knew who this was.
"So now you wifin' bitches? Who's the new daily thot" Angela asked causing Deja to stand up.
"Baby sit, sit" I sat her down
"What you need to do Angela is get the fuck away from me and my boyfriend! You were just a side bitch I hope you know that I will forever be better than your thot ass!" Deja yelled before sitting back down.
"This isn't funny Jacquees it's not!" She pointed her lil' claws in my face I swear them nails she got hurt like shit!
"Baby, Listen" She threw her food in my face and ran out the restaurant. The sauce tasted good at least.
I was able to use the napkins from the napkin dispenser to clean my face up. Angela and the friend watched everything go down.
"You good? She's crazy!" Angela said acting fake surprised
"Shutup, she actually made the cut unlike you, this is your fault! Fuck you!" I gathered all the food and left.
She was in the car with her head down. I dont know how I still wasn't mad, if it was another girl I would've thrown the drink at her. Deja really threw the hot food in my face and I still wanna kiss that slick mouth of hers.
"You good?" I asked her she raised her head smiling.
"Shouldn't you be mad at me? I'm sorry boyfriend" She rubbed some food that I missed off my face.

This is why I wish momma and Rodri were already together. We're stuck with this man I'm supposed to call a "father" he's being so annoying right now.
1. He took my phone away and he's going threw it like what I have in there is any of his business
2. He's cooked and I don't want to eat it because I don't like collards, and he's threatening to ground me..like boy you don't even live with us.
3. He's too worried about what Momma and her boyfriend are doing to even help us with our homework, like dang she left you for a reason.
"Kahari, you ain't listening, get up and go get ya shit"
"Same with you Kamoni get on up" He's been yelling like this since he came. He wants us to get our clothes for school ready but usually momma Let's us pick in the morning then she irons them for us.
I went into the room and took out one of the outfits Rodri bought me.
A thrasher flame logo T-shirt, paired with ripped jeans and red huaraches, the outfit was pretty well planned out actually.
"I got my outfit" I said handing him my outfit
"Who bought you the shirt?"
"Momma, Watchu' mean?" I asked him, he's just trying to get an answer out of me
"Your momma' ain't got money like that, she work now?"
"No, stop interrogating me can I get my phone back?" I could see he was tempted to whoop me
"Go to your room, go to bed you starting to act like your momma' I ain't liking it" I was slick enough to snatch my phone without him seeing.
I got back into my room and Kamoni was there laughing at her phone. I took back my ideas of sabotaging her relationship with Quantayvon because that's my sister and if I ever did that I would be really evil.
I activated my ultra hearing skills so I could hear what they were talking about.
"Yeah Nayvadius said that his dad is dating your mom, so I found that as a good thing because we get to see eachother more don't we baby?"
"Yeah we do, you so cute" Our "father" walked into her saying that he looks pretty confused.
"Put yo'self on Mute" He mouthed
"Hold on Quan, I'll call you back kissy" She kissed the screen before hanging up.
"Who That is?" He asked
"My boyfriend, you should know" Well dang, Daddy's girl done got a lil fiesty!!
"Ya' momma know about him?"
"Daddy she does! Momma knows! Okay! Goodness get out" Kamoni yelled!
Finally! She broke out of that good girl shell
"Y'all don't talk to me like that, I'm your motherfucking father! I don't care if your mother married Rodriquez I'm still your father!"
"Where was you at though? When momma ain't have no money where was you at? Huh?" I asked
"You just salty that your bestfriend stole your girl, and you taking it out on us, why we have to be stuck in the middle? We the kids daddy!" Kamoni yelled again.
"I'm not about to have this conversation with y'all disrespectful selfs, you learning it from ya momma and I ain't liking this" He sucked his teeth before walking out.
As if we cared, he set himself up.
