Today is the day. I'm going to get my girls and I'm not taking no for an answer. I'm on my way to DeKalb right now.
I have been going crazy lately, but I was able to settle down and call Rodriquez again. I can't get mad that he's falling in love with her. He didn't know that she was my ex.
Deja on the other hand knows me. We dated for around 5 years, she should know me well we've been threw so much together and she walks around with her ass in the air and her boujee ass outfits as if she doesn't remember everything I did for her broke ass.
The house she living in right now, I bought it. I have a key to that house and I can get in whenever I want. The house is in my name. I was definitely wrong for putting my hands on her the way I did. It was all just my built up temper. But still, the house is mines
In other words, Deja probably hates my soul and so do my girls. They both blocked my phone number, all this while I've been trying to get ahold of them I was never possible because they blocked me but I'm never going to be on good terms with Deja probably.
When I got their, Deja's car was the only car parked in their driveway,
I parked my car and got out. Walking to her porch I dug the key out of my busy pockets.
Getting inside, the girls saw me and ran away, how nice.
Deja was on the couch watching tv. I went and sat infeont of her
"Aye Dej, lemme' holla' atchu" I caught her attention
"Please don't hurt me" She surrendered
"I'm not gonna hurt you, I just wanted to ask if I could get the girls today" She furrowed her eyebrows
"Are you fucking serious Derrick? No apology? Nothing? Are you fucking kidding me!" She yelled
"Deja I'm sorry, I'm sorry Alright?" I won't lie there was a little bit of sarcasm added, but I meant it
"Nigga fuck outta here with that, Kahari and Kamoni don't want you they're not going with you, seriously Derrick your a bad father get that through" Don't spazz Derrick, don't spazz.
"Deja, can we get past this, really please"
"Are you dumb? CaN wE gEt PAst ThIs? You could be in jail right now but because I used to love you I decided to be quiet about it," Okay.
"Alright but what does that have to do with me getting my girls? They probably want to see me mama, lemme get my girls man"
"Kamoni and Kahari" She yelled out
They walked out completely walking around me to their mothers side.
"Can y'all let that grudge go? What's wrong with y'all?" I asked them
"You Daddy! Your a evil man I don't want to ever go back to your house until you stop getting mad at momma because she's with Mr. B, you take things way to far daddy you know what, scratch that, you take things way to far Derrick" Kahari really has the damn nerve to talk to her father like that.
"You don't talk to me like that Kahari Lei'ara Banks, do you hear me?" I guess my anger started to rise.
"No I don't Derrick, I don't want you as my dad" at that point I had to give her a common black momma whooping.
"Don't hit my daughter Derrick!" Deja yelled in my face.
"Daddy are you serious right now?" Kamoni looked at me disappointed
"I don't claim you anymore Derrick! Your a bitch" Kahari, I swear to God. My daughter really called me a bitch.
"Kahari" I yelled
"Don't yell at me, get out or I'm calling the police! They gonna definitely get you out of my life! I hate you!" She scram running back into her room.
"Daddy really? Really daddy? Seriously?" Kamoni cried running away afterward
"Derrick what the fuck? You really need help Derrick seriously! Why the fuck would you hit our daughter like that!" Our daughter?
"Deja, she testing me like she my kid, I love her with all my heart, I write songs about her and Kamoni.. this shit just hurts"
"But you realize Derrick, that your actions are what caused this, not hers, yours I mean yeah you did what you did to me but it affects her more than it does me, seeing daddy hurting momma? No kid wants to imagine that it's gonna scar her for life" Deja was right.
"I don't want you to think of me as a bad person, I sure don't want them thinking that either so I'm gonna apologize again, to you."
"From the bottom of my broken heart, I'm apologizing to you the way I hurt you is a way I'd want to hurt myself, Dej I'm truly sorry" I got on my knees
"It's Okay Derrick, get up gimme some Shugah"
I got back on my feet and she gave me a much needed hug,
"I love you" She whispered in my ear kissing my neck.

"I-I love you too" I felt renewed, ain't heard those three words from a women in a whole minute. Not even my momma.

Current Situation: I'm being interrogated by my mother.

"Who is she?" My momma is very protective over her only son, and she never wanted me to find love but she did at the same time.
"Her names Deja, she lives in DeKalb and she has two kids"
My mom furrowed her eyebrows, that was never a good sign.
"She has two kids? How old she is?"
"She's a year younger than me"
"How old he kids? Same age as Gbaby?"
"Yeah They're ten, they go to the same school as Nayvadius"
"If I'm correct she had her babies at 16, Que I don't want you with her, I dont care what you guys have going on, getting with a lady who has kids cause a lot of issues between you and the father" This what she does, she's done this with Miracle and Rozzie now it's my turn. I don't get how she liked Stanesha the fucking serial killer but can't accept Deja a normal mother.
"Mommy me and the father are cool, remember Derrick, yeah it's him they cool momma"
"Rodriquez that's even worse seriously, why would you think of talking to Derricks ex girlfriend,"
"She's Everything I asked for, look watch this" I dialed her FaceTime

She picked up.

"I was just checking up on you how my babies doing?" My mom looked at me so crazy.
"Kahari called her dad a bitch, she was going off on him, all kinds of shit like ion claim you anymore yatayata"
"What Derrick do?" I asked
"He slapped her, I was actually pissed of because he can't keep his damn hands to himself"
"That's men for you, Hey you busy mamma? I wanna take you out" My momma furrowed her eyes brows again.
"I have a meeting with the guy you made me call, I really want you there" That guy was my manager but she doesn't know that, I figured maybe he could put her on.
"I'll be there, who watching the girls?"
"Brite said he would"
"Alright sugarbutt I'll call you back"
"Aight pooh" She smiled hanging up.
"See momma, she's not even what you think she is, she's fine"
"She's actually really beautiful where she from?"
"She's from Detroit,"
"No wonder why, I always wanted you to get you a girl from Detroit they really bout they family"
"So does GBaby understand what's going on between you two?" She asks so many questions! Damn.
"Him and one of the twins are best friends like when I say best friends they be telling each other they love each other they definitely know yeah definitely"
"So when will I meet her?"
"I mean, I dont know I don't wanna rush things with her because she has trust issues probably when we start dating,"
"We'll see if I change my mind about her, get off ya ass and go get some food Rodriquez," She giggled
All I need is mommas full approval, and I'll be on my way.
