Zayn had been feeling a bit run down for a couple days now. He didn't want to admit he was getting sick but.... He was getting sick.
The ache in his head and the scratchiness in his throat kept popping up and he just wanted it to end.

"Zayn, it's time to wake up" Louis was standing at Zayn's bunk trying to wake up the lad
"Ufhfchf" Zayn groaned feeling his head ache
"Come on we've got a photoshoot" Louis pressed still trying to wake him
"I'll be out in 5" Zayn mumbled
Louis nodded before walking off to the front of the bus where the rest of the boys were waiting.
Zayn moved to get out of his bunk but his head kept protesting.
Finally getting out of his bunk he stumbled into the bathroom. Looking in the mirror almost brought him to tears, his eyes were red, hair disheveled, and his face was a pale gray not his normal tan glow.
Zayn mentally whined grabbing his toothbrush quickly brushing away the morning taste in his mouth.
"ZAYN!!" Niall's voice broke through the bus
"Comin" Zayn mumbled walking to the front with sweats hanging loosely on his hips throwing on a t-shirt

Paul and the rest of the lads stood waiting in the front eyeing Zayn as he walked in.
"Finally, alright let's go" Paul said as the boys followed him out the bus and into a waiting black van next to the bus
As they all took a seat Zayn sat next to Liam in the back sighing laying his head back.
"You alright?" Liam asked
"Mhm just a headache" Zayn mumbled sleepily already falling into sleep
"Alright I'll wake you once we get there." Liam said leaving Zayn to sleep as he engaged in a conversation with Harry about nachos...

"Liam...." Zayn whimpered
Zayn had just woken up in the van feeling the car move swiftly over the road making his stomach turn. Along with the road flying past aching his head, he was miserable.
"Liam..." Zayn whimpered a bit louder this time getting his attention
"Yeah?" Liam asked concerned seeing Zayn's face pale
"I feel s-sick" Zayn mumbled hiccuping at the end
"You feel sick? Are you okay?" Liam asked worriedly going into daddy direction mode
None of the other lads had heard the conversation as they had all fallen asleep with the movement of the van.
"No" Zayn whispered placing his hand over his eyes blocking out the sun
Liam didn't really know what he could do for him so he simply rubbed soothing circles on his back trying to ease the pain he was feeling.
Suddenly the van hit a bunk in the road and Zayn's hand flew from his head to his mouth,"Pull over" he said simply feeling his dinner lurch up his throat
"Shit" Liam whispered yelling for Paul to pull over quickly,"hold on Zayn, hold on" Liam said trying to make sure he didn't get sick in the car
"Liam-" Zayn warned knowing it was about to come as a dry heave escaped his mouth
Liam felt the car stop and he quickly helped Zayn out of the car.
Instantly out of the car Zayn's back arched and his dinner spilled out into a puddle on the roadside.
"Aw mate.." Liam hissed as Paul hopped out of the car jogging over to where the boys were standing
Liam's hand was resting on Zayn's back as Paul quickly texted the photo company explaining that they would have to reschedule.
"You alright Zayn?" Paul asked seeing Zayn kneeling on the ground taking deep breaths
Zayn shook his head stumbling to his feet,"my stomach hurts.." He whimpered dizzily grabbing for Liam
Liam grabbed him," well go back to the bus and rest" Liam assured guiding him toward the van
Liam got him situated in the back laying down across the seats before Paul handed him a sickbag if he needed it.
Liam climbed to the back of the van lifting Zayn's head off his seat before sitting down putting Zayn's head in his lap.
"Sleep, get some rest" Liam whispered running his hand over his back to soothe him

Harry opened his eyes,"are we there yet?" He asked sleepily seeing Liam sitting up
"Were going back to the bus" Liam said making sure his voice didn't wake a sleeping, sick Zayn
"What? Why?" Harry asked confused
"Zayn got sick, he threw up a while back" Liam informed pouting down at Zayn's weak form
"Oh.. Is he alright?" Harry asked knowing Liam always knew what was wrong with them
"Yeah, I think he's just eaten something that's upset his stomach" Liam said knowing they had eaten at a new sushi restraunt last night
"Okay" Harry responded
"Well I hope he's better for the concert tomorrow" Harry said remembering the arena concert they had tomorrow night
"I believe he will be, he doesn't seem to have a fever" Liam said gladly not feeling any abnormal temperatures radiating off Zayn
Before long Harry had fallen back to sleep against Niall curling into his side.
Liam smiled snapping a picture before closing his eyes to get a little rest himselfc

"Boys wake up" Paul shouted through the van seeing all the boys sleeping peacefully
Slowly Harry, Louis, and Niall got out of the car harry informing them on the Zayn issue which they all nodded before getting onto the bus.
"You want me to take him?" Paul asked seeing Liam struggle to pull Zayn's weak body out of the back seat
"Yeah" Liam said handing off Zayn's body before getting out himself
Paul had brought Zayn to his bunk closing the curtain to let him get some rest before all the lads decided some sleep would be great.
"Goodnight boys" Liam said as the boys responded with goodnights and sleep wells before they all fell asleep

It happened that Zayn did only have a bit of food poisoning and was feeling much better by morning after getting all the food out of his system.
The concert went well and it was a great success as always:)
