"Did you just start not feeling well?" Liam asked Niall as he pulled him down onto the couch next to him. They were in a hotel room while on a 2 day break that was very much needed. Liam had tons of stuff planned out for him and Niall to do together but it didn't seem like Niall was going to be able to enjoy these things much now as he felt sick.
Niall had woken up about an hour ago, it was 1 now, because Liam decided to let him sleep in and not have to worry about getting up early for anything. He planned the things for him and Niall later on in the day so they could get some sleep and just chill for a bit. But after Niall came downstairs informing Liam that he felt ill, liam wasn't sure they were going to get around to doing anything.
"Yeah..." Niall whimpered out cuddling close to Liam's body, fisting his shirt in his hand. Niall sniffled as Liam sighed feeling bad that his baby wasn't feeling well right when they got a little time off.
"Alright baby, don't worry, I'll take care of you today and you'll feel better tomorrow and we can go to a tennis match or a footie game okay? And maybe if you feel well enough tonight we can get something to eat. Does that sound okay love?" Liam asked carding his finger through Niall's hair and then rubbing his back with the palm of his hand.
Niall nodded already feeling like he might fall asleep again. He was so exhausted.
"Lay down babe, we'll take a little nap okay?" Liam helped Niall into a laying position cuddling Niall up close to him to keep him warm and cosy before pulling the throw blanket over their bodies falling into a little nap. Hopefully his little Ni would feel better by the time they woke up.
Well that's wasn't the case.
Niall woke up about an hour and a half later covered in sweat. His clothes were drenched, his hair was coated with sweat, and his skin just felt absolutely disgusting! He sat up, looking down at Liam wanting to wake him up because his stomach now felt awful, and his head was pulsing but he looked so peaceful...
Niall's stomach gave a nauseating turn and he curled his arms around his legs laying his head on his knees. He just wanted to have a fun little break but instead he was stuck ill.
Eventually after sitting there for a while Liam noticed that he wasn't cuddling Niall anymore and he looked to see that Niall was sitting up with his knees curled to his chest. He swore he heard sniffling.
"Niall? Baby you okay?" Liam sat up placing his hand on his lovers back looking toward his face which was buried in his knees,"what's wrong love?" Liam asked running his large hands over the span of Niall's damp back.
"My stomach doesn't feel good" Niall whined, hiccuping causing him to let out a little sob as his dinner from the night before sloshed nauseatingly around in his tummy.
"Do you feel like you might throw up?" Liam frowned asking Niall. Of course he didn't want Niall to throw up but he wasn't really looking forward to cleaning up vomit if Niall needed to be sick and wasn't near a bathroom.
"I don't know" Niall starting full on sobbing, his stomach clenching as tears ran down his cheeks.
"I don't feel good Liam.." Niall breathed out placing the back of his hand to his mouth gagging slightly almost throwing up.
"Hey, hey, baby alright let me grab a trash bin" Liam rushed off toward their downstairs bathroom grabbing the waste basket getting it back to Niall in case he was to be sick.
Liam handed the bin off to Niall before taking a seat next to him, holding him and rubbing his tummy as it spasmed trying to get his food up. Before Niall could say anything his head was over the trash bin and he was gagging again. Each heave brought him closer to throwing up and before he knew it he was losing his dinner.
Retch after retch more sick found its way out of Niall's mouth coating the bin in a nasty substance that smelled horrid and had to of been making Niall feel worse.
Liam ran a hand through Niall's hair and started rubbing his back in large circles trying to calm him, using his other hand to help hold the bin in front of Niall for him to be sick in. Liam whispered reassurances over and over again until it seemed as though Niall was finished. He was breathing heavily over the nearly half full sick bin and his face was a deathly pale color.
"Do you think you're done baby?" Liam whispered fearing that any louder voice would hurt Niall's head making him throw up more. Niall nodded though and allowed his boyfriend to take the bin into the bathroom cleaning it quickly before stopping by the kitchen to grab a bowl just in case.
Niall was back laying on his side on the couch, his eyes droopy and red rimmed with purple bags underneath. His mouth was slightly open breathing heavily hoping to keep his stomach at bay.
"Here love" Liam placed the bowl next to the couch kneeling down next to him so he could caress the sides of his face and run his rough fingers through his hair.
A couple minutes of silence before Liam spoke. He brought his hand to Niall's side rubbing up and down his side and over his upset tummy a few times," you feeling a little better at all? " he asked hoping for a yes.
Niall shrugged not really knowing what he was feeling. He still felt sick, very much sick, but he didn't quite feel like puking anymore which was good. His stomach was hurting and he just wanted to sleep off whatever was causing all of this pain.
Liam brought a bottle of water to Niall's mouth helping him drink a few sips to rehydrate so he didn't get more sick from being dehydrated.
"I'm sorry you're sick baby" Liam felt bad for his baby. They were supposed to have a fun couple of days together but it didn't seem like they would be having very much fun. It was already almost 5 and Liam didnt think Niall would be up for anything but cuddling and watching some movies.
"Lay with me please" Niall whispered making room for Liam to squeeze in behind him and spoon him. Liam smoothed his hand over Niall's belly trying to settle his stomach in any way he could.
Liam put in a movie for them to watch and Niall soon fell asleep to the movie playing in the background and Liam's soft hands on his body keeping him warm. Liam stayed awake though just in case Niall were to need him.
It was getting close to 8 now and Liam knew he needed to get Niall up and into a shower before going to bed. After being sick all day a shower was for sure going to be good for him to relax. So Liam gently started rubbing Niall's back whispering his name to awake him from his sleep.
"What.." Niall groaned after just waking up to the dark room with the tv on some random rerun of Keeping Up With The Katdashians.
Liam smiled a small smile at him,"hey baby, WANNA go take a shower and get to bed?" Liam whispered to him sitting up. Niall nodded sitting up along side him.
Liam stood up helping his love off the couch as Niall placed a hand on his stomach as it turned a little when he stood. Liam noticed and walked carefully up the stairs to their bedroom and then into the bathroom letting Niall sit on the toilet while he warmed up the shower to the perfect temperature.
Niall sat quietly his eyes dropping from exhaustion even though he had been sleeping almost all day. He was ready to relax in the shower and then make his way to bed and hopefully sleep through the night.
Liam grabbed Niall's hand helping him into the shower after undressing both of them holding Niall to his chest as they swayed slightly under the warm shower water. Niall had started to become slightly nauseous standing in the close corners of their shower even though it was quite large. The warm steam from the shower wasn't helping much either after a while.
"Liam.. I'm getting nauseous, I wanna get out" Niall broke the relaxed silence and Liam pouted at Niall quickly getting him out of the shower and started drying him. He wrapped a towel around his own waste and a towel to go over Niall's shoulders to keep him warm.
Liam helped Niall to get dressed into a pair of boxers and a large sweatshirt that was of course Liam's.
Niall had lied down in bed trying to fall back asleep but his stomach wasn't letting him. He was starting to feel sick again and called for Liam who was in the bathroom.
"Yes baby?" Liam asked coming over to Niall noticing the paleness of his cheeks,"you alright?
"I f-feel like I'm g-GONNA be sick again" Niall whimpered sitting up when he felt his throat go tight. He breathed heavily holding his head in his hands while Liam ran off to get the bowl from downstairs that was left beside the couch and brought it back to Niall.
He grabbed it from Liam's hands gagging over the bowl. He started to cry right off the bat when the dry heaves burned his throat and hurt his stomach even more. He couldn't seem to get anything up and Liam knew that Niall wouldn't be sick because he hadn't eaten anything.
"LIAM!" Niall cried retching hard into the bowl, saliva stringing from his lips. Liam grabbed a wad of tissues wiping Niall's mouth before taking his bowl away from Niall.
Niall gagged into his hand,"Liam stop, I'm gonna throw up" he cried reaching out for his bowl.
Liam placed the bowl on the nightstand taking Niall's hands into his own,"baby just relax okay? You're just working yourself up, you don't need to vomit. Lay down love" Liam coached helping Niall to lay down again.
Niall let silent tears roll as his stomach cramped and turned but he couldn't throw up. Liam climbed into bed beside him pulling him into his chest like when they were on the couch.
"Sleep baby. You'll hopefully feel better by morning." Liam whispered rubbing Niall's back while he closed his eyes and his breath evened out allowing him to fall into a relaxed sleep.
Liam smiled at his little baby and turned off the lamp before kissing Niall's warm forehead whispering a quiet 'I love you' before he fell asleep beside his lover. Hopefully he would be feeling less sick in the morning.
