When I came back, I felt dazed. I had no idea what had just happened. I felt someone pull me up, roughly. The person pulled my face up so their lips were against my throat.
"Nobody move!" The person shouted. I recognized Danny's voice but... He was scaring me. I wasn't ready to be a vampire. It was like when he had tried to make love to me. It was exactly like he was trying to make me become an adult.
"Daniel... Leave her be... You're scaring her..." Uncle Edward stepped forward, cautiously.
"Go back!" Danny shouted. His teeth inched closer.
"Please... Don't..." I whispered.
"I'm sorry..." He whispered back. He moved his mouth to the back of my throat then back to the side. He then sunk his teeth into my flesh.
No pain... Nothing. I closed my eyes and welcomed the darkness with open arms.
