I stood up and grabbed Tomy's arm, pulling him to the door.
"Little eager to get to class aren't you?"
"We're going to medical."
"We can't go to the medical! Your pulse is so slow, a medical nurse would freak!"
"Just come with me!" Tomy walked beside me. Medical was right next to the parking lot. We were in luck.
I ran to the Mercedes and opened the passenger door.
"You can drive, can't you?" I shouted over to him.
"Yeah!" Tomy smiled as he figured what I was doing.
The keys were in the ignition. We never took them with us because no one would dare nick our car without Alice or Edward finding out first. Tomy twisted them and the engine started.
He reversed then drove out of the parking lot.
"Nice!" Tomy held up his hand for a high five. I slapped my palm against his.
Freedom had never felt so good.
