𝕭efore we knew it, we were heading home for the Christmas holidays, one we would all be spending at the Potters. James had talked to Sirius after I did and they had managed to hug and cry everything out and Remus had agreed to be civil with Sirius but he still doesn't trust him or want to speak to him, which I completely understand. The compartment was quieter than it usually was, Remus fast asleep to pass the journey quickly, Peter was eating sweets, I was snuggled into James' side and Sirius was staring into space.
"We should do a new years eve party" James suggested, tracing his fingers up and down my arm, leaning his head against mine.
"Mhm" Sirius hummed, causing me to frown. Sirius was always up for a party. I lifted my head of James', catching him staring at my brother, my heart clenching. I sighed, moving over and wrapping my arms around him, leaning my forehead on his in a strictly platonic way.
"He'll talk to you eventually" I whispered, his eyes meeting eyes, a hint of brokenness behind the grey. Everything was going well with Remus and Sirius before this prank mess, i'm sure they were aware of their feelings which is why I think it hurt Remus more.
"I miss him" He mumbled back, "I just wish I hadn't done anything and maybe we would-"
"I know" I murmured back, knowing exactly what he was going to say, "I know my twin, you can both figure this out it just needs time"
"Yeah" He breathed out, "Thanks, M"
"Mhm"
"He's going to kill me"
"Who? Rem?"
"No, Prongs"
"He can also hear you and wants his girlfriend back when you're done" James chimed in, causing me to roll my eyes playfully and retreat my forehead.
"What are you going to do in the summer when i'm with Nicholas Flamel?"
"Move to France"
"Course you are" I retorted, climbing onto his lap, his arms going around me, "You have six months"
"No, I plan to have a lifetime with you" He returned, butterflies fluttering in my stomach. "I think we've proven we can do anything"
"I think we've proven we are too weak to let go of each other.."
"Because our love is stronger, Elody, that's the point"
"Disgusting" Peter mumbled under his breath, Sirius snorting and the two of us deciding to ignore him for now. He joined his lips to mine, earning the both of us having sweets thrown at us, causing us to kiss each other more just to irritate the two boys.

We arrived into the station, the five of us about to greet Monty and Mia on the platform, after saying goodbye to the girls. I'd already given them their present as well as Regulus', because who could forget my not friend? I squealed upon seeing the two Potters, James chuckling and letting go of my hand, allowing me to run and bring them into a big hug.
"Hello, Melody, dear" Mia greeted, smiling at me, the two of them wrapping their arms around me.
"We're glad you're okay, Melody" Monty whispered, ruffling my hair before turning to the boys and eyeing them all. They of course knew something had happened from Minnie, about James and I breaking up and the whole group splitting apart. Minnie had told them that James and I broke up because I got scared I would hurt him on a full moon and didn't want to put him in any danger, which was technically true but obviously they didn't know the boys were animagi. They also thought that Remus and Sirius had a big fight about it, saying Sirius slipped up and told Snape that we would be in the Whomping Willow, which was also true, we just left out some details.
"Boys" Mia greeted, hugging them all individually, trying to pat down James' hair after he kissed her cheek.
"Mum!" He groaned, trying to pull away from the older witch, "Not here"
"Are we embarrassing you in front of Melody, Jamesie?" She teased, a laugh escaping my lips when he groaned again, a faint blush on his cheeks.
"You'd think by now he wouldn't get embarrassed, she's seen everything" Sirius chortled, my jaw dropping to the floor, the same time James' did.
"Everything?" Monty repeated slowly, glancing at the two of us with narrowed eyes.
"I meant all the photographs and Mum coddling James, not whatever you're thinking Monty. What are you thinking Monty?" Sirius reiterated, raising his eyebrows, "Because they have-"
"Let's go!" James and I cut him off before he could say anymore, grabbing onto Mia's hand and apparating away from him. We landed at the Potter's with our trunks, Mia chuckling to herself,
"I hope you use protection-"
"Mum!" James cried, running his hands through his hair, both of our cheeks red which made her laugh even more.
"I'm not stupid, James, I am your mother and I was definitely your age once..just be careful"
"Godric" I breathed out, practically running out of the room and back up to my bedroom, taking my trunk to unpack. I love Mia, I really do, but that is not a conversation I want to have with her about her son and me.
I spent a while unpacking my trunk in my bedroom, smiling to myself when arms wrapped around me from behind. He nuzzled his head against mine, kissing my cheek and neck sweetly, "A little me or you around sounds good to me"
"We're sixteen" I reminded him, resting my hands over his around me. We haven't even left Hogwarts yet, and we were definitely not ready to become parents.
"I know, my love, I can see it in our future though" He whispered, butterflies dancing wildly in my stomach from his words.
"I-I don't know what happens when i'd be pregnant" I voiced quietly with a frown of my face. I was bitten by a werewolf, I am a werewolf so would that be in my DNA? Would I pass that on to my child? Would they even survive the pregnancy if I transformed during the 9 months? I have no idea.
"We'll figure it out closer to the time, hm?" He replied, moving his hands up to my locket and holding on to it, pecking my neck again. "Let's go down for dinner, love"

"We have to tell you all something" Mia announced as we all sat around the dinner table, all of us pausing our dinner to look at the two of them with curiosity, "With everything going on with the war brewing and the death eaters.."
"And you're aurors.." We all voiced, concluded as to what they were saying.
"We are, and we may be out on missions more, we don't want to worry you. We just want you to know we may be out more often than we usually are but we'll always leave a note or owl you if you're at Hogwarts when we're back" Monty promised us all, the five of us nodding. Trust two of my parental figures to be doing one of the most dangerous jobs in the world whilst we are in the most dangerous dark times.
"I think its cool...out fighting all of those vile people" Sirius claimed, Peter and James nodding their heads.
"Of course you would" Remus mumbled, everyone becoming silent again. I sent him a look, causing him to sigh lightly, "Thank you for telling us"
"You're going to be here for Christmas?" I quizzed, bouncing my leg up and down until James moved his hand on to it, stroking hid thumb up and down comfortingly.
"We plan to be yes, however we are not sure when we might be called by-"
"The office" Mia finished, exchanging a glance with Monty. That is not what he was going to say, that's not what he was going to say at all.
"Okay" James nodded, going back to his dinner.
"Whilst we're here we have another thing to discuss. While we are out we don't want any funny business Melody, James-"
"Fleamont!"
"Dad!"
"Sirius I'm going to kill you" I grumbled, burying my head in my hands, Remus doing the same, not wanting to listen to this either.
"Please don't i'm too pretty to die!"
"This is why I am the way I am, no trouble" Peter murmured, shrugging his shoulders.
"Godric" Remus sighed, "no i'm done, I can't eat this anymore i'm thinking about it"
"Why are you thinking about it?!" James and I cried.
"Fleamont, look what you did now"
"Oh great, now I'm thinking about it" Sirius muttered, "Thanks, Moony"
"Piss off, Sirius"
"Language, Remus"
"What a delight this has turned out to be" Peter piped up, Remus muttering curse words at Sirius still, Mia scolding him and Fleamont for mentioning it and mine and James' heads in our hands.
"Knock knock" James whispered in my ear. Seriously? Is this really the perfect time for a knock knock joke?
"Who's there?"
"Hugo"
"Hugo who?"
"Hugo that way and I'll go this way" He murmured back, before sliding out of his seat and tiptoeing out of the room.
"James Fleamont Potter!"
"Yeah?" He chirped, peeping his head around the corner a crooked grin on his face, "Knock knock"
"Not again" I groaned, shaking my head as they all replied, "Who's there"
"Stopwatch"
"Stopwatch who?"
"Stopwatch you're doing and rise up!" He ordered, dancing around the dining room, Sirius immediately joining him, Peter guffawing at us. James scooped me up, spinning me around before I twirled him around, Sirius dragging a frowning Remus up even though I could see he was trying to hold back his smile. Peter brought out the muggle camera, taking photographs of us all dancing until we got him to join in.
"We have a bunch of idiots here" Mia chuckled, watching the five of us dance around.
"Care to dance, my love?" Monty questioned, holding his hand out to his wife, standing her up and twirling her around.
"Yes, Monty and Mia!" I whistled, watching them spinning around like James and I were doing before.
"I forgive you" Remus whispered into Sirius' ear, the long haired boy staring up into the honey eyes of the werewolf, hope covering his, "Don't do something like that again"
"I won't Moony, I swear" Sirius murmured back to him, taking a side glance to the others making sure they weren't looking at them and instead looking elsewhere.
"Good" Remus mumbled, his mouth still close to his ear, Sirius' heart rate picking up when he felt the taller boy's lips brush on the side of his cheek, his heart fluttering from the affection.
