Every day we wear our masks
But really how long do they last
We try to be someone else everyday
When our true selves are hidden away
Our souls locked up by a key
Hiding the demons, sweet blasphemy
Distancing ourselves from the truth
Not realizing the impact on our youth
The bad, the horrible, and the worse
This is our own melody, our own curse
We cover up, we all started to deny
But truthfully, we kept it inside
Hiding behind our faceless masks
Not knowing one day we'll be basked
We'll be exposed to the world
To be by just one, lost, lonely and long forgotten little girl
Every day you bathe in lies
But everyone can see through your filthy disguise
To embrace who you are
Its only a wish from afar
Little you knew
What damage she could do
No matter how far you travel
The curse comes unraveled
So hiding behind your mask
Cheers, to you, raise your flask
Let's just see how long you'll last
Bury yourself, present, future, and past
When will you realize
That you can no longer hide
Suck up your haughty pride
All measures must be applied
To arm yourself, everything's undone
This war between you has yet to begun
There is no definite way to outrun
They have you in their scope, just one
Abide by the rules, the rules of three
If you haven't noticed by now
This little girl is me.
