Rain.

I am walking through this empty street, this empty neighborhood, this empty town…this empty world. Covered in sorrow, torn between right and wrong, I stand here in this place to walk amongst these empty souls.
Nowhere to go, nowhere to run, only us against this life; we are here alone with nothing to hold us down,
my spirit wet with the sobs of the innocence of this world,
my shoes soaked with the ever so longing to be free from this place.
These puddles filled with hate and misery among one another.
My hair drenched with the loneliness of every lost child longing to be loved,
my face slick with the tears of ones who have no one else to turn to,
my fingertips dripping for the one who reach out and rejected time and time again looking for a new sense of being,
my shoulders soggy with the weeping souls waiting to be rescued form their hell.
My eyes teary knowing all this pain goes on day by day, but for now…me I’m just walking in the rain.
