14.4 Emotionless Knight

Brent wake up comfortably from his sleep. In his dream his wife is still alive, in that dream he was very happy that can't contain that happiness and embraced her as much as he needed. But opening his eyes wake the living daylights out of him upon seeing the emotionless Lissana gazing up to him while inside in his embrace.

"Can you let me go now? I want some sleep too, you know"

Feeling like being poured with a bucket of water. Brent let her go in a lightning speed. Lissana sighed as she settle on her chair.

Never mind that. She'll just sleep later when other night comes. She can't sleep at the day and leave both of them guardless. She start the engine as the blob of water disperse in a thin air.

"Hey. I think you should get some rest, I'll drive"

Lissana didn't bother to listen to his nonsense and step on the accelerator. Something crazy is tailing on them, the crazy thing called zombie king.

[Be careful host. I sense something wrong about the zombie king]

Lissana badly wanted to roll her eyes but stop because she can't be out of character in front of Brent.

"What are you doing?" Brent eyes widened when the car speed up to it's limit.

"Taking the literal fastest way to be as far away as I can from some crazy zombitch",

Yue. What's up with that zombie king? Why is he following us?

[I don't know host. My data can't reach him. He must be a bug]

Lissana turn the car on left side as the car make a creech sound from the sudden fast turn.

"Woah what's that?!" Brent burst out as her eyes went into the back mirror. Behind them are like a tide of water made of zombies.

This is crazy. Something is really wrong.

She stepped on the break that made both of them almost hit the dashboard.

"Why did you suddenly stop? Go on! I don't want to die!" Brent said in horror.

Lissana smiled, breaking away from her character.

"Don't worry. You won't die", she closed her eyes and concentrated her magic in a thin air. Suddenly, the two person inside the car vanished leaving the poor vehicle being crumpled by the wave of zombies.

"What the--? Where are we?" Brent asked   in confuse.

"We're inside of my space magic", she whisper as blood ooze from her mouth.

Her eyes wondered at the cautious man holding the box where Susan's head lies. At that moment, the familiarity in Lissana's eyes gone along with the light on it. A sad smile crept on her thin lips. He only cares on who had left him not on the person he left to be alone.

I thought that when I hop back on this world, he would be still the man I know. What I didn't know that he also leave this world after I die without thinking a way of coming back.

[Host?] Yue became warily at the dark aura coming from his host. He began to feel that fear again that he only felt on the first day he took her.

T-This man.
